When the director and writer @rodmorf gives you creative freedom it’s important to dig and do research. First I put together a visual deck that includes inspiration, music, and historical visuals to really see and feel the imagery of the story.

This film was shot in black and white which made it a fun challenge. I had a great time scouring the streets of LA with @macaroni_pockets - visiting Santee Alley, taking pictures, then converting them to black and white to see what it would look like before the final costumes and looks were chosen for each character.

It was rewarding to see how everything came together.

El Llorón continues to win awards for best writer, best film, best actor, best supporting actor, best supporting actress, and more. I am proud of everyone’s hard work on this amazing project and thank you to all who have supported the film.
