Dream Team Retreat 🤍

Maybe I had a little too much caffeine, got a little competitive during the games 😂, got super vulnerable, and soaked up some amazing sermons. But more than anything, I’m just incredibly grateful for this team and the people God has placed around me. 🫶🏼

So thankful for this weekend! ✨

This last weekend we had our Kick Off Weekend and orientation week with all of our students. We are excited to see them grow, thrive, and flourish in this next season!

Thank you to our incredible team! From alumni, to individuals who simply believe in this school, we are so grateful for each of you!

back to your not-so-regularly scheduled monthly recap: JULY!

in a space where everyone desires to showcase their highlight reel - myself included - I also desire to bring authenticity & vulnerability, and the ability to share that real life is not always fun or easy or happy 24/7.

this month has arguably been the hardest month of the year so far, and there have been some pretty rough months lol😅

During the month of July, my mental health has reached lows that I haven’t experienced since high school, I’ve questioned my worth as a human on this earth and doubted my purpose as a daughter of the King, I’ve felt utterly alone in the most crowded rooms, and I genuinely think I’ve spent more days crying than I have laughing or smiling. Safe to say, after constantly hearing about how much of a joy I am and how I embody that fruit of the Spirit, the struggle with imposter syndrome was rough.

However I don’t say all of this to invoke a feeling of sadness or pity, I say this to point to the perfect Father, Friend, Healer, Savior, and King.

when I’ve cried, He was close to me (Psalm 34:18) and bottled up my tears (Psalm 56:8). whenever I felt alone, He showed me that I had a friend in Him (Proverbs 18:24). Whenever I questioned why He loves me, why He desires to use me, and whether or not I have a purpose in this life, He continually pointed me back to His Word and His truth (Jeremiah 29:11, Psalm 139:13-14, and so many more scriptural truths).

though this month may not have been my favorite for multiple reasons, it is marked by the hand of the Lord and Him showing me that He is the light in all of the darkness; also, that while there are sometimes bad days, a lot of the times it’s just a bad moment of a day that can still be good and redeemed.

no one should have to walk through this life alone, and you don’t have to. First and foremost, you always have a friend in Jesus; and second, you have a friend in me🤍

Sappy caption over: here are some little joys from this month ➡️
