It is with great excitement that we welcome 6-year WNBA veteran and UConn Huskies legend Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis to the ProcureX Mainland Pouākai.

“I am excited that we have been able to bring a player of Kaleena’s calibre to the Pouākai at such short notice,” said Head Coach Alex Stojkovic. “Her résumé speaks for itself: UConn, the third pick in the WNBA Draft, and most recently MVP of the Mexican league.”

Mosqueda-Lewis joins the Pouākai with an incredible track record of success. Across four seasons of college basketball at the University of Connecticut (UConn), Mosqueda-Lewis won three straight national championships, earned two All-American nods, and graduated as the NCAA’s all-time leader in three-pointers made.

Following her standout collegiate career, Mosqueda-Lewis was selected third overall in the 2015 WNBA Draft to the Seattle Storm. She went on to play 169 WNBA games across six seasons with Seattle and Connecticut and won the WNBA championship in 2018.
