Isn't this why we do what we do?💙😭🫶🏼🏈

I had the chance to watch our Italy U15 girls compete at their first NFL Flag European Championship: an opportunity we were able to create thanks to @affy_afia and our incredible collaboration with the @brownsitalia @fidaf_ and huge the help of @legnanofrogs @mguarneri_h24 @willa620 🏈

I also got to attend the Nike Women (in Football) event, surrounded by so many incredible women in flag football who inspire me every day and especially one boss lady who works tirelessly behind the scenes to push this game forward, @claire_parnell_ . 🫶🏼

And somehow, the day got even more special: I had the opportunity to interview Carlie Irsay-Gordon and @kalenjackson , two incredible women leading at the very top of the NFL and showing the next generation what is possible.

But more than anything, today I got to see the impact of all this firsthand.

I saw young girls playing on an NFL field, looking around them and seeing women as athletes, leaders, executives, coaches and decision-makers.

Girls who are growing up in a football world completely different from the one many of us grew up in.

And maybe that’s the most special part: realizing that everything we are working for today is creating opportunities that the next generation will hopefully never have to fight for.

I'd be lying if I said all this work doesn't have me feeling so guilty as a mom. I miss my daughter, my husband, my family and I'm constantly second-guessing if I'm doing the right thing. Today @cirsay said something that really resonated with me. She said there's no right choice between staying home or going to work, just make sure whatever you choose your child sees you're happy doing it.

Feeling so inspired and grateful for the amazing women @claire_parnell_ got together today to remind us we're all on the same team and here to support each other. Stronger together! ❤️❤️❤️ @nfluk
