End of an era (kinda)

“Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God lives in us and His love is made complete in us”.

Mannnnnn who the hell is chopping the onions???

3 years ago when I first got to Central I felt so out of place. I felt like I didn’t belong. I felt like it wasn’t the place for me. But after getting closer and closer with so many amazing people I realized this was the place for me. Each year here got better and better. And then this year was by far the best. I got SO close with so many great people. And this was the year that I accepted God into my life. He showed me what it was really like to truly live a life worth living for, and that life is living for Him. He brought me here for a reason because he knew these were the people for me. I feel like I could write a 20 page paper over each and every person at this school and how they have impacted me. But I’ll save those papers for grad school🤣 On a real note though, I am so blessed for EVERY single person that I met while at Central. You all shaped me into the person that I am today and the person that both the Lord and I desire me to be in the future. Leaving yesterday was undoubtedly the hardest day of my life. That last day there was so freaking perfect man. And then the next day you just have to leave it all behind. It is so hard, so so hard. But I know I made so many friendships that will last a life time. And on the way home I was trying to think of the greatest lesson I learned from my 3 years here. There were so many things, but they all tie back to one thing, and that is just loving others. Nothing in this life brings me more joy than loving others the way the Lord calls us to do. I realized that loving others the way He loves me is what I’m being called to do in this life. I’m just so blessed for all the lessons, memories, and most importantly the people that this community has provided me. The best decision I ever made in this life was to come to this school. #foreverdutch

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?…..No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death or life…..will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
