And just like that, summer number 2 comes to a close. What an amazing opportunity I’ve had to be a part of this experience for 2 summers. I’ve loved working in this role so much, both the rewarding and hard moments. Through this role, I’ve learned and grown so much, met some amazing people, built so many relationships, and maybe even found a new career option.
To my team, thank you for an amazing second summer. I love all the laughs that we’ve had and memories we made.
To my returning team, I loved getting to work with you all again. We took the challenge of our new roles and ate down!
To my mentee groups, Crimson Cheetahs and Brown Beavers, thank yall for allowing me to be apart of groups. To my two mentors, De’Morian and Izzy, thank you for putting your trust in me to be a secondary mentor to your mentees. I am so happy that I got to be yalls Stuco!
To my other two Stooges, Jeremy and Collin, thank you both for being there for me. We’ve gone through so many battles together this summer and have come out the other side even stronger. Thank you for all the moments to stim, crashout, laugh, etc. I wouldn’t ask for anyone else to share a brain cell with.
To our amazing interns, thank you for joining us this summer! We couldn’t have made it through this summer without both of you. Thank you for all the memories we made with our late night ice cream runs or our side quests to Dallas.
And last but not least, to my pro-staff mentor and Boss & CEO, thank you for hiring me and putting your trust in me to take on this role. This role has pushed me so much and I am thankful for those moments. Working in this office has allowed me to meet so many amazing people that have changed my life for the better. I can’t wait to continue to be a part of this office over the school year.
All of this to say, I am so thankful to everyone I’ve worked with this summer and interacted with. You’ve made this an unforgettable experience!

As I wrap up my time as an Orientation Leader, it’s hard to put into words how much this experience has meant to me. This summer was filled with memories, laughter, growth, and so many amazing people who made it unforgettable.

To my five Crimson Cheetahs ❤️🐆 — thank you for allowing me to be your mentor, your leader, and someone you could lean on throughout your time as an OL. Watching each of you grow, step out of your comfort zones, and begin your leadership journeys. Yall have been one of the most rewarding parts of this experience. I am so proud of each of you, and I know you’re all going to accomplish amazing things.

To my returning staff, thank you for doing this journey with me not once, but twice. From the early mornings and late nights to the endless laughs, challenges, and unforgettable memories, I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to experience this alongside. It’s been an honor growing with each of you, and I’m grateful for the friendships we’ve built along the way.

To @shaunbh_ ,thank you for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to lead—not once, not twice, not three, but four times. Thank you for seeing my potential, trusting me to make an impact, and helping me become the leader I am today. I’ll always be grateful for your guidance and support. Now….Year 3 maybe?? 🤣

To @redx1234665 and @andrew___egg , thank yall for not giving up on me the yall have made this summer possible—thank you. You all made this more than just a job.

Being an Orientation Leader has been one of the greatest blessings of my college experience. It gave me a family, lifelong friendships, memories I’ll cherish forever, and the chance to make a difference in the lives of so many students. Thank you, Summer 2026, for a chapter I’ll never forget.

Freshman year of college OFFICIALLY DONE ✅ can’t lie it was a fun year I’ve made many many friends and made many many memories I’m glad I was able to meet each and every one of y’all and to all the memories and the insides jokes we’ll see each other again soon till then ✌️

This semester was definitely a time… BUT, we made it through. I’m so thankful for all the amazing people who helped me through(some not pictured). Looking forward to 2026 with them!!

Orientation post!!

I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity this summer. This was a life changing experience that I am so glad that I was able to be a part. I now have a huge family here for me at UNT.

-To my team, thank you for the whole experience. The good times and the bad. I wouldn’t change anything because we are a close family.

-To my mentee group, I love yall so much. I am so glad to have yall as my siblings.

-To my mentor Kris, thank you for showing me how to be a leader. I was able to learn so much from you and grow throughout this summer. Now that orientation is over, I’m super excited to still be with you in the COM.

-And last but not least, to the best Boss & CEO, thank you for allowing this experience to happen. I am so grateful that I was able to be a part of this team and help student find their place at UNT. You allowed me to find an even greater sense of belonging through this process.

Before I start crying, I’m gonna stop here. Words can’t express what an amazing experience this was!

Ol 14 signing out, to my students even tho yall had to come to orientation thank you for making the summer an amazing summer, I hope that yall had a good time during our small groups and that I helped make your transition to college a little bit more easier, I’m always here for yall even after I graduate 🥹☺️

To my team, man we had some tornados but we got through them like champs, thank you all for making this summer an amazing core memory that I will never forget. Through rain, sweat, and tears just know that I will always care for yall. And yall know it’s hard for me to say these words so just think of my tattoo that consist of them 3 core value words and just know yall have a place in my heart forever ❤️
