Kali Phillips – Apprentice
A WARM WELCOME || Originally from Chicago, Kali began her formal training at the Joffrey Academy of Dance under Raymond Rodriguez and Karin Ellis-Wentz. She then accepted a scholarship to The Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia (2019-2023) before continuing her studies at the European School of Ballet in Amsterdam (2023-2025), led by Jean-Yves Esquerre and Olivier Wecxsteen. During her training, Kali had the opportunity to learn and perform works by renowned choreographers such as William Forsythe, David Dawson, and Maurice Béjart. She is thrilled to join Alberta Ballet as an Apprentice for the 2025-2026 season.
Kali is eager to make her debut with Alberta Ballet in Once Upon A Time - A Thousand Tales this September as part of the RBC Emerging Artist Program. With @rbc’s support, she is ready to take her next steps in the world of ballet!
