🎄 Did you get a new glove for Christmas? 🧤
Here’s how I’ve always believed in breaking one in—the right way, from my playing days.

⭐ My go-to methods:
• Play catch – simple, classic, and effective (just takes time).
• Use a mallet – pound the pocket whenever you can to simulate catches.
• Ball machine work – stand close and catch balls right out of the machine (best for older players with proper supervision).

🧼 Make it last:
• Clean the leather with leather cleaner & water
• Oil it after cleaning
• Never toss your glove to the bottom of your bag

🚫 What to avoid:
• Running it over with a car
• Soaking it in water
• Wrapping it up and hiding it under your bed

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Think about it like this:
Dads—would you break in new leather boots that way?
Moms—would a new designer bag go in a bucket of water?
Exactly.
Breaking in a glove takes work—but do it right, and that leather will last for years.

🙏 Thank you @kaligloves for making this Christmas a memorable one with the boys’ new leather!

🎅 Merry Christmas, you filthy animals.
