POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Long story short, my food truck was towed from my sister’s residence on a Friday afternoon. I was already in the middle of something, so I said, “You know what? Let her stay there all weekend. I’ll pick her up Monday—we got it like that!” 😂😂😂

Well, Monday came, and the drama started immediately! The lock was so rusty from sitting in the rain all weekend that my key wouldn’t open it. Thank God my friend & business bestie @tugfad was there to help me get inside.

Once we finally got in, the truck wouldn’t start. We thought it needed gas, so we grabbed the gas can from the truck, went to the gas station, bought a couple of gallons, came back, and poured it in.

Boom—we tried again. Still nothing! 😩

That’s when we realized the battery was probably dead. The truck had been left in neutral, the windows were down, and honestly…there’s no telling what else happened!

So, I called my customer D, who owns a roadside service company. He’ll come to you, jump your battery, change your tire, or do whatever he can to get your vehicle running and help you reach a safe destination. If you’re ever stranded on the highway or stuck on the side of the road, make sure you call him! @blacktop_218

We finally got the truck started and headed to Sheridan because it was the only storage facility with enough space for a food truck this size.

When I tell y’all this turned into an ALL-NIGHT process! But thank God for placing such amazing friends in my life, because without them, this day would have been an even bigger wreck.

I hope you enjoy this realistic day in the life of a business owner—because entrepreneurship is definitely not always pretty! 😂

Should I share more behind-the-scenes business-owner moments like this? Let me know in the comments! 👇🏾🚚💕
