I do not go out a lot. This was my one and only party all night of the summer and I won’t forget the kindness, respectful spirit, laughs and sweetness of everyone during these memories.

Storytime! Damn what a trip this has been! 💕🇺🇸 It has taken me a couple of weeks to get back on earth and my life in Amsterdam, but Ive finally found some headspace to share this story.

And then to imagine I almost didnt go back to the States.. I was in doubt, because I already went to New Orleans and Austin twice last year. Isnt it crazy to go back? And, dont I wanna see the world and thus go to new places? But I am so in love with these places and the friends I met there, dont I wanna see them again? I remember last Christmas, I was sitting on my couch at home contemplating these thoughts (yes, too blessed to be stressed, I know🥰). I opened my instagram and the first post I saw was the announcement of the line-up of Jazz Fest 2026. Headliner? Stevie Nicks. The people close to me know that I am a huge fan of Fleetwood Mac and especially Stevie Nicks. She has played a huge role in my life and realising that you dont have to become an old unhappy lawyer lady if you dont want to: you can also become an old rockstar and do whatever the fck u want 🧜🏼‍♀️✨ The next day, I booked my ticket and end of April I went.

Best decision I could have made, without a doubt!! The pics in these post are of New Orleans, together with amazing old friends Ive visited and beautiful new friends Ive met. We’ve boiled crawfish, got some tattoos and saw a ton of music. I havent even touched on the crossover I didnt know I needed, all my Austin friends playing in New Orleans for Jazz Fest. 💕 The universe really treated me this time.

And OFCOURSE Stevie. What an inspiration. What a woman.❤️ An amazing beautiful emotional performance, with as cherry on top a bright colorful rainbow after the rain during Landslide. Rainbows are signs from my dad to me, so it couldnt be more perfect 💕🌈

I’ll be forever grateful of the memories I’ve made in New Orleans and 100% certain that I’ll be back. How could I not? Or, as I’ve learned from a new friend: the most beautiful thing about travelling ís coming back. The end, happy me ✨🥳 (see last pic)
