Yesterday, SMO Board members Everett, KaMaya, and other general members had the opportunity to attend the 3rd HBCU Job Shadow & Mentorship Day hosted by the @commanders ❤️💛

Throughout the day, they engaged in impactful sessions focused on Revenue Growth and The Art of Storytelling, with the latter moderated by DSU alum Dr. @chanellesreynolds🐝

They also received an exclusive tour of the Commanders’ offices, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at the organization’s operations🗂️ One valuable aspect of the experience was an hour-long networking session, allowing members to directly connect with team professionals to learn about their roles and career paths in the sports industry. Overall, the day provided meaningful exposure, professional development, and inspiration for future careers in sports🏆 Thank you @dsu_cob for the opportunity.
