Dear Baseball,

The love and passion I carry for this sport runs deeper than I can fully express, which is why putting these thoughts into words feels so painful. This sport hasn’t just been something I play for fun it has been something that has, in many ways, saved me. It gave me purpose when I needed it most, and through it I found friendships, relationships, and a community that feels like family. The memories I’ve built along the way are some of the most meaningful moments of my life, moments that brought light into even my darkest days. I am deeply grateful for every teammate and every person who stood beside me, helping keep me grounded and strong during times when I felt like walking away. As this season comes to an end and my dream wears thin it burns my heart to see the end. My final words to my teammates and friends is to keep taking the chance, step out of your comfort zone and make your mark, you’ll never know what you can achieve unless you make the jump. Thank you for making my life more complete and giving me a meaning when I never thought I had one.
