2025 has been a revelation of what can be. Family, Work, Wrestling, have all been at an all time high for me.

The blessings that I have received since being able to join this program have been 10X what i could of ever hoped for. I wouldn't say that I am known for my humility but I am overwhelmed and humbled by how great this wrestling community in Jefferson is! We together have overcome more than any know but its together that allowed to succeed!

My High School coach Shawn Watson (2026 Hall of fame inductee) had a sign above the door of our wrestling room. It said "Those who stay will become Champions". There is no program that personifies that saying more than Jefferson Wrestling. This isn't just for the wrestlers....its for every person that give to this program.

Let's have a short review of what I have been able to be a part of 2025!

🏆 Dual and Traditional Team State Champions
🏆Dual and Traditional Region Champions
🏆2nd at Girl Traditional State ( 1st time ever in the top ten and their is only 1 classification for them)
🥇5 Individual State Champions
🏅2 Individuals won their 3rd 💍
🥈3 Runner-ups
🥉2 State placers
🏆Jefferson's coaches won the National Award for the best staff in the county

This wrestling season we are chasing history. We have 3 wrestlers going for their 4th title and we have a goal 10 State Champions.

We have some incredible results so far!

🏆 Top 3 at every tournament entered
🏆 Winning the inaugural GWCA Southern Invitational
🏆 2nd at The Knockout of 68 teams (5 finalist)

Jefferson Wrestling vs. Gainesville and Cross Creek

My 1st team camp with the Jefferson crew. I have to say I was impressed with their preparation prior to the camp and their discipline during it.

3 technique session per day + multiple duals between each session × 4 days = tremendous growth!

We came home as Team Camp Champions after going undefeated in duals.

I can't wait for season!

This group of wrestlers are special!!! The work, effort and determination shown at the @appwrestling team camp makes me excited to see what they will achieve this upcoming season. All I am going to say is that if they are this good right now....how great will they be in 8 months at the State Championship?!

It might be to early but I truly believe this group will go down as one of the All time great Jefferson Wrestling teams. Which if you know anything about Jefferson Wrestling and Georgia wrestling means that they could be one of the best teams in GA History. Time and effort will let us know if what I predict to be true.
