I’m forever grateful for the opportunity to experience life through Juliet. Stepping into this character was truly transformative.

I will be brief

I just got to play two characters, one that dedicates her life to giving encouragement, wisdom, and love to those around her, and another that literally dies because her love is too strong.
I love playing characters that I love. The friar was for me and hopefully to others a symbol of love for everything and everyone God put on this Earth. Of seeing the beauty and a chance for growth in a place that seems to be crumbling. She’s an example of doing what we can to protect and support, but her story also goes to show that one ally, one support, is not enough. And that a world full of hate breaks everyone.
I got to play characters all about love in a show all about love with creatives I love. I have a sick job.

From start to finish this show was a beast!! Bringing the Nurse to life was so rewarding in so many ways! She quickly became my first for many things in theatre and for that I’ll forever be thankful for this opportunity and privilege of getting to bring to life such special people!!!

I love these people so much. It's so so rare that you get to work as an Asian actor with other Asian actors and share your experiences, and I would trade so much to do it again and again and again. I don't even have the words to describe what this meant to me except that it meant a whole lot. Happy Belated AAPI Heritage Month ❤️🇰🇷

Narratives: AAPI Voices opens tonight ❣️ Thank you for all of the support from @yesandrva and @richmond.triangle.players in making this dream a reality!

Directing and performing in a show with all AAPI actors for the first time has been one of the most cathartic and special projects that I have ever been a part of. It feels more important than ever to share our points of view on stage and to be able to do it during AAPI month is an honor.

I couldn’t be more proud of and inspired by what we have created and I hope you’ll join us ❤️🧡💛
