⭐️ dream state party 2.0, april 12 @ the lord gladstone ⭐️

i genuinely have no words to sum up just how incredible this day was. thanks to you, we were able to raise $2512.65 for the incredible twenty10, and all of their incredible work supporting LGBTQIA+ people across NSW.

thank you to everyone (almost 200 of you!) for showing up. i had so many people coming up to me and commenting on the respectful and joyous community that gathered at this event, and i genuinely couldn’t be more grateful.

thank you to the incredible eora bands and djs that so generously donated their time and talents to putting this day together. i am the biggest fans of all of you, and genuinely am so chuffed you agreed to play at my little event with so much enthusiasm and patience. so much love for you @binsadband @lindsey.mp4 @monstressbandofficial @bananafarmband @lucasloaneyork @lee.mo3ll3r @milly.mcpherson

Goodbye forEVER!! ⚫ Did we mention this is the last Booker Magazine ever? For a little peek behind the curtain, here’s our editorial team @defunctgirl @kamymurphy @rileycurtain @claudia_mj_h signing off for the last time.

Your beautiful publisher Alexander Booker dreamt this magazine up in 2023, recruited dear Kamyar Murphy for issue 003 some months later (alongside lovely @larensmall, now having left us to rural Germany), and from issue 006 the two became four with Canberra’s most enigmatic Claudia Hunt and Riley Curtain of @artatmoonlighting. We’ll leave the rest to your imagination. It has been the joy of our young lives to make this magazine, and we’re going out with a BANG of a final issue and a final party.

Don’t miss your chance to give us a kiss goodbye, and to fill your eyes and your mind with the very best of Eora/Sydney’s emerging creative art featured in issue 008—this very Thursday 23rd April!

Tickets in bio, and love in our hearts.

Yours,
The Booker Magazine Editorial Team
