Days and months and years go into completing a film and each day and stage has so much to give to its maker. When I began writing this anthology short film, I sat down alone in my flat and watched some 40 films, re-watched more, jumbled reading books and essays, went for a walk everyday, spoke to my friends and asked them to help me with plot lines when I was stuck, went to see my family to feel their calm. My only motive in life, was to do things that make me feel full so that I can write. Soon my brain did feel full of words and possibilities. And I started to feel that in this process, the film gave me so much, I learnt so much, that this was the most any film would offer me.
But soon the script traveled. And it found its people. It found a team. And since then, I have been overwhelmed. I've been overwhelmed to see a group of 40 people come together and build something that was only a fragment of imagination. I'm not just thankful, that's such an understatement. But I've found a part of myself which believes so strongly that a film is and will always be it's people.

Filmmaking can be about so many things, but when it's about befriending people, building a community and being kind, you know something is right.

I am so incredibly lucky that these people happened to me and made me realise this.
While I have so so much to say, all I can actually word, is thank you. Thank you for stopping by.

Corners and unlikely acquaintances.

July has been nothing but very very reluctantly catching up with acquaintances I never thought I'd, and realising social battery isn't running out.

When I moved 3 months ago, ( wuv it's been three already? ) Pune was basically @madhyamideshmukh
who was getting her passports stamped, @potatingphotographer
who was out of the city half the time, and work.

May was rough, June was settling in, making your own routines. July was the one where it started getting better, and how.
