POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The gorgeous @kangbang09 is selling his beautiful art prints that he has painstakingly given his heart, soul and time to. DM him for orders!

The best I could contribute to this artistic venture of his was to document him in the city he loves (and hates), exposing his prints to the gaze and light of the city they very much deserve :)

Here he is holding up his work which goes by the title 'Stolen Kisses'.

MEET OUR CONTRIBUTORS (Part 1)

Hello everyone,

We’re excited to introduce our inaugural cohort of contributors for All That Blue Magazine.

Meet Akhil Kang – an anthropologist and human rights lawyer whose art envisions a world where queer individuals thrive freely and uninhibited.

Next up is Vineet Gedam – a talented graphic designer and artist whose work delves into illustration, calligraphy, and animation, shedding light on themes of social injustice and oppression.

And meet Youlendree Appasamy – a charou writer and artist from South Africa. Their work spans collage, beadwork, and zine-making, offering unique insights into culture and creativity, particularly influenced by the affectual afterlives of Indian indentureship and Apartheid in South Africa.

We can’t wait for you to explore the diverse thought-provoking perspectives and artistic expressions they bring to our pages.

Welcome aboard, Akhil, Vineet, and Youlendree!

The last 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙮 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 is with super humble and kind @dhrubo127

2nd October, 10 PM
@fadescha / @partyofficehq take over on @southasia.art

Dhrubo Jyoti is Delhi-based journalist who writes on national affairs at the intersection of caste and sexuality.

𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙮 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 are IG live hours on @southasia.art for a takeover by @fadescha / @partyofficehq. It’s a space to explore how knowledge can be generated collectively, and how we can think of this digital space in relation with notions of work and body. We are bringing in guests whose voices and work are a part of what @partyofficehq focuses upon and considers important for critical future publics.

‘There are a lot of structural reasons why Menaka Guruswamy and Arundhati Katju get to present themselves as leaders of this movement, and in doing so, tap into exactly the structural violence through which Section 377 has come to be represented.’ Some excerpts from an edited and expanded version of an Instagram Live conversation between Akhil Kang (@kangbang09) and Vqueeram Aditya Sahai (@vqueer). Reposted from @inbritish “Stories have been the oldest and staunchest allies of Dalits, where ideologies, and governments have failed, our storytellers have preserved the most honest of our memories. Our stories, in our hands, have paved the way for a community of trillions to find it’s voice across borders, religions, ethno-linguistic backgrounds. If you live in India, every fifth person comes from a Dalit family. @dalitqueerproject is a community driven initiative that uses visual narratives to challenge what it means to be Dalit, and queer the ways in which our discourse has been set by Caste.” (Akunth, They/Them)
