Running home for the last time. ❤️

For the past three years, I have had the privilege of serving as a Rho Gamma and experiencing recruitment from a perspective I never could have imagined when I first ran home to Kappa Alpha Theta as a new member.

As a Rho Gamma, I was disaffiliated from my chapter and never had the opportunity to recruit for Theta, post pictures with my sisters during recruitment, or have new members run home to me. Instead, my role was to be there for every girl going through recruitment to encourage her when the process felt overwhelming, remind her that she was not alone, and reassure her that there was a place for her in Greek Life.

It has been one of the greatest privileges of my college experience to help girls find their home, even when I couldn’t tell them where mine was.

This year, getting to experience recruitment as President of Panhellenic Council made this final recruitment season even more special. After three years of serving as a Rho Gamma, I am incredibly grateful for every conversation, every late night, and everyone I have had the opportunity to support along the way.

The sweetest part of all this is that I get to end my Greek Life journey exactly where it began, running home to Kappa Alpha Theta.

Three years of helping others find their home, and now one final run home to mine.

Highlights from the Ice Cream Social + Open House last week!! 🍦🏠

It has been a busy but amazing start to September! Ice cream Social let all of our potential new members get to know each chapter and all of our Rho Gammas a bit more. It was an amazing introduction and orientation to recruitment. Then, Friday our potential new members were able to tour each chapter house and talk one on one with many of the girls from each chapter. It was a perfect event to get the feel of how recruitment will run.
