As Tequila Sunrise approaches, NAU IFC and the Flagstaff Police Department remind everyone to celebrate responsibly and respect the community we call home.

Eat a meal before heading out, drink water, stay with your group, and plan a sober ride. Respect private property, use designated bathrooms, and be mindful of noise, our neighbors deserve consideration throughout the awesome day.

Look out for your friends, respect others’ boundaries, and get help when someone needs it. Never leave an impaired friend alone or get behind the wheel impaired.

Swipe for reminders and important safety contacts. For emergencies, call 911.

Let’s do our part to keep each other and Flagstaff safe.

We stand with everyone affected and with survivors who may find this news painful to hear.

We have absolutely zero tolerance for sexual violence or any act that threatens the safety and dignity of women. Every person deserves respect, autonomy, and the ability to feel safe in their community. These values require action and accountability from us as leaders and from every chapter we represent.

We are committed to requiring sexual violence prevention and consent training for all IFC member chapters. We also recognize that someone seeking help may need support before they are ready to decide whether to report. The following slides include confidential support, university reporting options, and 24/7 resources in Flagstaff and nationwide. Please save or share them so someone who needs help knows where to turn.

National Hazing Prevention Week is a reminder that building a stronger fraternity community requires honesty, education, and accountability.

Hazing can take many forms—physical, emotional, psychological, in person, or online. No tradition, expectation, or idea of brotherhood is worth compromising someone’s health, safety, or dignity.

NAU IFC has zero tolerance for hazing in any form. This week and every week, we remain committed to recognizing it, speaking up, and looking out for one another as we work together to end hazing on our campus.

See it. Stop it. Report it.

Everyone has their own reason for rushing.

For some, it’s the lifelong friendships. For others, it’s the opportunities, growth, and memories that come with being part of something bigger than themselves.

Here’s what brotherhood has meant to a few of our guys.🪓
