POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s been a minute since I done a “MAKE LONGER VIDEOS GREAT AGAIN”

Anyways here I am with a new track actually that I’ve been rinsing for the past 2 weeks

It’s been lifting my mood especially with the season change, but besides that, this remix is unbelievable.

Enjoy

Reflections on Interplay // AusArt Day 22 Oct.

Art doesn’t just happen. It is supported by community, nourished through inspiration and encouragement, and funded with tangible resources to ensure artists’ work is seen and felt by those who need it most.

In 2020, I was selected for an artist development program at Nexus Arts called Interplay. It was a yearlong program which would allow me to work on my craft and make connections with other artists.

Little did I know at the time how much being selected would impact my artistry, particularly the original work I would compose and produce thereafter. It was during my time in this program that the seeds were sewn for my acclaimed show ‘Someday – a Mindful Cabaret’, which later inspired more songwriting and the composition of my musical-in-development, Dragonfly.

Fast forward to 2026 and I have now had the privilege of co-managing this amazing program for 4 years alongside @kultarahluwalia! I have the joy of connecting with so many inspiring artists who are making incredible work, and their stories have stayed with me, ultimately impacting my own art.

I am one of many artists impacted by this game-changing program and I want to let you know that we are running a campaign – One More Artist. One More Story – to provide one more artist the chance to take part in next year’s program as part of the Australian Cultural Fund’s Aus Art Day which will take place on Thursday 22 October.

If you would like to support a cause such as this, the link is in my bio. You can follow @nexusarts for more info about our programs and what we do.

If you are a First Nations or culturally diverse artist who is interested in applying for this program in 2027, keep an eye out on Nexus Arts’ socials for more info soon.

Thanks for everyone that’s come through to see Reprise over the last month and for the feedback, very grateful. Thanks also for Mal, Mon and the whole team at @hither_yon for hosting and for @grovelsesh curating the audio waves.

This weekend is the last weekend to catch it at the cellar door. These grainy under exposed Polaroids are the only evidence I have of the opening. Thanks for packing the place out! Works still available, link to catalogue is in my bio.

TLDR - you can pre-order the vinyl of my debut album now x

Hi!

The time has come to stop procrastinating and slowly self-sabotaging, and get this show on the road. This album is written and created to be heard from top-to-bottom, where you can immerse yourself in the story a little and enjoy the exceptional musicians I had the pleasure of playing alongside.

Getting to this point has been incredibly challenging, I’ve thought about scrapping the whole thing lots of times; the album explores mental health, pain, loss and whole lot of hope, with sprinkles of finding the love of my life & managing to love myself heaps more. Ironically, a lot of the challenges I’ve dealt with and written about have reared their head while trying to actually release the music. It’s my least favourite part of it all, but fuck the numbers and the algorithms, I love this album and I love anyone that takes time to listen to anything I create.

The pre-order will essentially allow to get over that final hurdle, get this thing into the universe in its intended form and close this chapter of healing for me.

Love you lots x
