POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Before the music, there was kabaddi.
@mahlanwala59 left Punjab at 17 and built a life in Auckland. He worked and played the sport for years. Then a knee injury took the game away, and he started writing songs. He’d been writing lyrics for friends all along. Once he started writing for himself, he couldn’t stop.
During Corona he began posting freestyles on Instagram from New Zealand. People found them and kept sharing them. A few sessions later, “Scenario” took him from the internet to the charts.
He tells the whole story to Sammy Chand, including the moment he realized the music was meant to be his.

We put @kickvicky_ new video on and let the couch reactions speak for themselves 😭🎬

Money raining down, hood up, full main character energy — this is exactly the kind of underground content we live for. The visuals alone had us stuck.

Go check out the full video, this one’s about to run up the views.

They mend broken pottery with gold so the crack becomes part of the story. My songs are built the same way — every wound stitched into something worth hearing.
