Recap post for the revived @fahrenheitflowarts event by @flowartsinstitute 🌀🐛🔥🤡

The only way I can really show my deepest gratitude for a community jam-packed with art, passion, silliness, love and kindness is actually quite simple: by giving back. I use to think it was just giving out little trinkets, snacks, water, etc to comrades & strangers alike but like a fire sign, I NEED MAWR 😈

As one of the many organizers/instructors at Fahrenheit, I felt intense pride in offering my services to this particular fire community, one that I have grown so close to over the years by sharing our love for fire and monetizing off of it! All while simultaneously humbled in realizing that 1) I have no idea what's going on & that's completely okay 🤓 and 2) my friends/colleagues are most certainly going places in their craft, gaurenteed. I have never cried this much ever at an event I worked at, and it was only 3 days 😅😭😭😭 so thank you to every single person that I interacted with, where the extent of it is irrelevant bc the quality of each conversation was on another level ❤️‍🔥

Huge shoutout to my close circle of fam that held me up when I didn't know how to ask, showing me cool things (like bugs & cool toys) when I needed new inspo, being patient with me when in manic-mode and just, like, being awesome creatures that dwell this earth, willingly give me support/love in the best ways possible 🥹

Cheers to the first @fahrenheitflowafts event since the zoom one in 2020 and to many more (all the heckling included, to) ✨️

i can’t even begin to describe the amount of gratitude i have for this community. being somewhat new to festival going has brought a whole new world to my life, and it’s something that is irreplaceable. the people, the music, the energy, everything as a whole has brought me back into my element, and helped me rediscover myself and my passions. i want to thank everyone who i’ve met along the way and for every beautiful interaction ive experienced, the memories i’ve created, the abundance of love i’ve received, and the opportunities that made all of this happen (: show love, spread love🩷

Throwback to the Touch Grass performance back in March at @mishas.flowershop . Big thanks to @kareemyg00dness for the invitation to move and share the bill with him alongside @klassiccarella @dunyc.hi . I was battling being sick that whole week and the vibes and crowd pushed me to the finish line 😌

Also huge s/o to @elaquent for making the track “Venus x Mars” that I’m dancing too. If you haven’t been already listening to him, he’s got so many bangers. I’ve been bumping him for well over a decade and he’s never stopped bringing heat ❤️‍🔥😤

FINALLY my big ol' dub-aroni post to cleanse yalls feed ☺️🌄💚

Every year I return to 4Q farm, the more I align with my roots before even realizing. This being the 4th year hosting a theme camp at @bigdubfestival but 3rd year at big bottom as Camp Disco Circus, it gets harder & harder to gather the words of all the core memories created as well as hard lessons that could not have been learned in any other way. This year was SO different than any year I've experienced on the mountain ✨️

For example: this was the first year where I only attended 1 headliner set where the rest were all homie-infused (@chehzmusic, @___chickpea___ and the mf catalina wine mixer 🍷🎉). Being very much bound to CDC/our team's needs, I grew to love hanging back to support in anyway possible. Plus we're in earshot of hemlock hole so bless for their 360 sound where I can vibe while tending to whatever needs, esp @renderone & @illuniverse_ sets ❤️ please dm me your entire audio to me ASAP, if recorded/not on SC, bc I was already sweating before but yall had me DRIPPIN 🥵💦 a full-circle moment reminding me that this festival was built off local-support and to every single one of the homies that poured their he(ART) into their set: it did not go unnoticed, I promise you!

Second: I have never felt such a deep connection to the grounds' energy as I did this year, tapping into my divine femine along with other souls that identify as such ♀️🔮 so ofc I gave it my all to my reoccuring workshops: 1) doubles boot camp put me to WERK where my students were loaded with questions that made my heart bursttttt as I love a challenge 😈 and 2) CAN I GET A BIG SUB was so absolutely perfect in every way from class size, range of experience, participation and a bunch of new/old faces that some of us rolled over to the next hour for open ropeshare 🪢🥰). My first premiere activity, "America's Got Jesters"? was something that I've been wanting to streamline for YEARS, but it solely depended on attendance. (continued in comments...)

Thank you to everyone who came to Misha’s on the 4th for this months gallery opening!! 🥳

Face Value, a collection of oil pastel illustrations by one of our Budtenders, @lizzie__furman, and will be displayed in Misha’s for July.

For those who missed it, here’s a short recap including our other Budtenders @kareemyg00dness who had dance performances and @n333k5 who DJ’d the event!!

Give them their flowers in the comments and when you want the rest of the garden, you know where to visit 😊
