Was too busy sharing precious family time up in Massachusetts with my Mom and the family she created (with my beloved Dad) , to post in celebration of her on Mother’s Day. Missed being able to be w/ my daughter @darmiahope and stepdaughters @ivykaller @jce1221 & @sophiepesko , but I celebrate them too! I’m grateful to be the daughter of Jeanne Helen , and sister to my 6 siblings, Aunt to my nieces & nephews & great(grand?) nieces & nephews, & Nana & Grandon to my stepgrands! As I sang to my 97 year old Mom, “What do you give to the reason you are living? I could window shop the world before I’m through…” Happy Mother’s Day everyday Mom, and to all of the loving nurturers in our lives ! 💖💖💞💐👑✨✨✨✨#MothersDay

Monday night was truly fueled with purpose & love! What a delight and privilege it was to be a part of @bivoices glorious Annual Fundraiser Concert. I had the honor of introducing my remarkable lifetime friend, producer & activist @tomkirdahy , & presenting him with one of their Inspiration awards. I have literally known Tommy since he was born , as our families grew up across the street from one another out in Hauppage, LI. His lifepath of integrity, passion, resilience, embracing of joy & true generosity and kindness fill my heart with love and pride. And how inspiring it was to celebrate the other honories: the radiant, incredible @reneeelisegoldsberry and the powerful & beautiful Queen @phyliciarashad who received @BIV ‘s Legacy Award. AND to witness, honor & be blown away by this organization’s talents & immeasurable generosity of spirit, service and love ! The music lifted us us up beyond any possible expectation, w/many special guests including the phenomenal @iamnichellelewis on her night off from performing Sarah in #Ragtime @lctheater dueting w/ #DestanOwens to honor Tom w/a stunning arrangement of #WhatIDidForLove , the magnificent @gifted2sing raising the roof to honor Ms Phylicia, & so many others. I have been a long time Fan of Broadway inspirational Voices, since their early days as the #BroadwayGospelChoir founded by the incomparable @michaelmichaeltheartist . Now under the dynamic leadership of @iamallenlouis , their mission of supporting and strengthening communities continues and grows!
Thank you to all who contributed to this inspiring night, much needed during these challenging times. And congratulations to the exquisite honoraries! #RisewithPurpose 🌱💖🙌🙏✨✨✨✨

My amazing Mom Jeanne turned 97 yesterday. I was working, so couldn’t be with her, but my family surrounded her & celebrated her. My Mom’s parents separated when she was 3, & her mother Helen died when Mom was only 7. She was raised by her maternal grandparents. And while she had a beautiful voice, & loved singing- her heartfelt goal was to raise a family. From the time she met and fell in love with my late Dad Bob, that was her focus, her life’s purpose. Seven children, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren later… we are all beyond grateful for the gifts of life & love she has given us. Happy 97th Birthday Mama Jeanne! Love you beyond measure! 🎂💖💐🎉👑💞💗😘😘🙌

95 years ago today my mom Jeanne Helen Fink Murphy was born in Queens, NY. She became a secretary who loved to sing, & married the love of her life Robert Murphy in 1958. Together they raised 7 children (I’m the oldest:). This weekend all seven of her children, their spouses, 8 of her 14 grandchildren, & 3 of her great grandchildren gathered from all around the country to surprise her & celebrate her. So grateful to my Super Sibs who pulled this together. We love our Mom deeply, & it was amazing to be all together celebrating the woman who gave us life and dedicated herself to loving us. Happy 95th Mom! And special thanks to my new #DrWolf family for making it possible for me to be there🙏. #Birthday #BirthdayQueen #95andFabulous #Family #Mother #newyork #massachusetts #KindOfABigDeal

I just love this pic of my Dad with 5 of his 7 kids. This was our Massachusetts mother-nature-provided, private neighborhood skating village. Right next to our house. I love how happy & proud Dad looks, & how it captures what a good time we all were having. I remember that day in my heart, mind & entire body. It preceded some challenging times for my Dad & family; and it reminds me of what was always at the core of his heart & all of our’s. Love & miss you Dad!
