I’m so excited to share that I’ll be making my debut at the 16th Annual 2026 Hawaiʻi Food & Wine Festival (@hifoodwinefest) 🌺🍷

I’m honored to be participating at the FEAST Summit/Nonna’s Event on November 5 on Oahu - a beautiful afternoon celebrating the women, traditions, and family recipes that connect us across generations.

As someone whose culinary journey began in my mother Leeann Chin’s kitchen, this event feels especially meaningful. The recipes and stories she passed down shaped not only my career, but my life. It’s a privilege to share my own family’s flavors at one of the world’s premier food festivals.

I can’t wait to cook alongside an incredible lineup of chefs and experience the magic of the Hawaiʻi Food & Wine Festival for the very first time. Special thanks to @chefroyyamaguchi & @denise_yamaguchi for including me at this prestigious event and ultimate foodie destination!! 🎟️TIX available at HFWF.me/tickets.

Hope to see you in paradise! 🌴❤️

What a week in Hawaii 🌺🍄

I’m still floating after returning to the amazing @manoavalleytheatre last Wednesday for a one night only performance of my acclaimed one woman show “Holy Shiitake! A Wok Star is Born.” I’m so grateful that my deeply personal story about family, identity, resilience, and finding my voice was embraced with so much aloha by this incredible community 🌈Special thanks to the entire @manoavalleytheatre team and to @homeandyonderpaul for his BTS support 👏

A special shoutout to the amazing @annalisaburgos of @hawaiinewsnow for her unforgettable cameo 🎭

I’m also incredibly grateful for the warm support from Honolulu’s media community for allowing me to share my story and help bring new audiences through the theater doors.

Most of all, mahalo to everyone who attended, laughed, cried, shared memories of your own families, and reminded me why storytelling matters. Seeing so many faces in the audience and hearing your personal reflections afterward was truly the greatest gift. Not to mention getting showered by a bounty of gorgeous leis 🌺🌺🌺

My heart is full. Until the next performance… ❤️

@netflixfilm “Protecting Jared” wrapped on 4.23.26 on Oahu. For the first time in a long time, the whole 9 weeks was shot in Hawai’i. Mahalo to @prideofgypsies @andysamberg @brianandrewmendoza @alileighbell for pushing 💯forward. There is a story behind these photos - local hires in dept head and key positions, local talent cast in roles and opportunities for internships and shadowing in directing, cinematography, costume, art dept, accounting, and VTR all took place on this production. Over 800 locals were put to work as well as many local vendors saw business rise again after a year of nothing. For seven months, big money was pumped back into Hawaii’s economy. Mahalo to @cowanfilms @pixiebetz @miltyfried @netflix and Dan Lin for making the show happen, respecting the culture and uplifting our film community. And to @iatse665 #goodjobshawaii @creativehi808 @dbedthigov for having these programs which should be implemented on every production. We see the outcomes! Hawai’i itself is a character in this feature and once PJ premiers, it will be another free PR campaign for Hawai’i and will impact tourism like this industry has always done. @hawaiihta @hvcb. Once the new tax incentives pass, we hope for positive change. This was a challenging show - weather and all - but PJ will be one of the first productions to benefit from these uplifts.

“It’s a wrap” Where have I been for the last 21/2 months you ask? Here’s a tiny glimpse of set life on the film “Protecting Jared” - My first Key position. We finally wrapped last week Thursday! I learned so much and thank my dept head @karenpreiser and makeup team @mahealanidiego @rekuciku for always bringing the energy daily! I gained so many new sisters and brothers, #teamnosleep and made an epic movie with the people who inspire me to keep pursuing my craft, passion and dreams ❤️💕❤️
