Class day highlights. First Mosaics at the Farm class was a big success. Here's a little behind the scenes work in progress video. Better than this is to take a class in person. I'm going to take the rest of the month to highlight some of 2020s class creations. These are not my creations but are actual art pieces designed and completed at the Farm by my students. "Students" is loose term, because I don't teach as much as I provide all the tools, materials, and the space for people to create. I give them the nippers, stained glass, vintage dishes, old jewelry, adhesive, and grout. And the rest of the month will show you what they do with those! I hope you will consider a road trip to the Farm. If that's not possible, I do take it on the road and teach classes at your location (travel costs apply) And you can always shop my high quality Diy Kits on my Etsy shop. Warning: once you try mosaic art, you might be hooked! This piece is a large vintage horizontal window made by Karen Tschida (tagged ) The window did not have panes but Karen wanted them, so we created them using slate. Isn't this absolutely amazing?! . . . #mosaicsatthefarm #iteachmosaics #learnmosaics #creativetherapy #create #diycraft #diyart #craftymom #crafty #crafternoon #mosaicclasses #craftersgonnacraft #makersgonnamake #stainedglass #stainedglassmosaic #diyprojects #diyhomedecor #windowart #windowdecor #vintagewindow #stainedglasswindow #glassonglass #suncatcher #diydecor #learnsomethingnew #trysomethingnew #craftymama #youcandoit #youcanmakeit #diyhome
