SYNTH SENIOR SPOTLIGHT - Karen Li ⭐️

Karen is a Human Biology and Society major with a Study of Religion minor. She has been dancing for 17 years and joined Synth during the fall of her freshman year.

“I can’t imagine my UCLA experience without Synthesis! From the very beginning, this team has been the most supportive, fun, creative, and all around amazing group of people. When I first joined the team, I was a major bunhead who had never even really attempted a parallel passé. Not only have I become a much more well rounded dancer, but I have learned incredible lessons about friendship, teamwork, and artistic expression. I’m so proud of how this club has grown and I wouldn’t change a thing about essentially living in Wooden with you all. I’m so immensely grateful for everyone I’ve danced with these past 4 years, the lifelong friends this club has given me, laughing so hard that tears start falling, and most of all, for Synthesis reigniting my love for dance. I love Synth from the bottom of my heart and am so excited to cherish these last few weeks with each and every person here, through each and every practice, and one last time on stage!”

Karen, this team would not be the same without you and we are so grateful for everything you have given this team. We love you so much and can’t wait to watch you thrive in the future!!🩷
