I got a journal 🤭

Let me tell you about my journaling story.
I used to journal a lottttt back in junior secondary school. Writing was my safe space and my outlet.
Then I began to grow, and all of a sudden, writing didn’t feel safe anymore. Anyone could pick it up to read, and it wasn’t just working for me, so I stopped.

For years now, I had been trying to get back into journaling, but I just couldn’t bring myself to write my thoughts. So I just kept piling things in my head till I felt like I’d burst.

Anywaayyysss, I got a journal recently, and I’ve been writing out everything: my strengths, my joys, my weaknesses, my sad thoughts, my doubts, my affirmations, and the list just goes on.
I’ve been so excited because, for the first time in yearssss, I actually feel like I have a safe space again.
