A little of what life looks like lately…

Speaking in more rooms. Hosting events. Sitting at smaller tables with interesting people doing interesting things.

Building The Gunn Group, expanding my ownership and investments, while bringing those conversations home through our Family Council.

Business, family, relationships and legacy becoming one solid life story that I’m looking forward to sharing more of.

Imagine yourself at the moment where you’ve finally made it.

Karim Boktor shares a powerful visualization exercise: step into the future where you’ve achieved what you want, then look backwards.

Notice the decisions you made, the opportunities you took, the fear you stopped listening to, and the person you had to become along the way.

When you can clearly see that future, you can start creating a blueprint for getting there today.

Sometimes the path becomes easier when you start at the destination and work backwards.

Sometimes the biggest thing holding you back isn’t something others can see.

Karim Boktor shares how he realized his physical stutter wasn’t his biggest limitation. It was the “inner stutter”: the self-doubt, limiting beliefs, and internal struggles quietly affecting his confidence and potential.

After transforming different areas of his own life, Karim now helps others strengthen their inner game and become a more confident, capable version of themselves.

Think of it like upgrading your internal operating system: lighter, stronger, faster, and ready for what’s next.

Scarcity is not always about money.

Sometimes it becomes a language children learn before they have words for it.

I shouldn’t ask.
I can go without.
I don’t want to be a burden.
Other people need more than me.
That opportunity probably isn’t for someone like me.

In this clip from Episode 50 of *Suddenly Different*, Karim Boktor speaks about how early experiences of scarcity can quietly shape what we believe we are allowed to want, ask for and receive.

And this matters deeply.

Because children don’t just hear what we say.

They absorb the energy in the room.
The stress around money.
The hesitation before asking.
The guilt attached to needing.
The way adults shrink, sacrifice or silently worry.

None of this means blame.

It means awareness.

Because the beliefs we form young can become the inner rules we live by later.

Rules about worth.
Rules about safety.
Rules about deserving.
Rules about whether it is okay to want more.

This clip is a gentle invitation to notice:

Where might scarcity still be shaping us?

And what might our children be learning subliminally from the way we speak, choose, worry, receive and ask?

Sometimes changing the story starts with noticing the one we inherited.

Scarcity isn’t always about money.

Sometimes it becomes a story.

I shouldn’t ask.
I can go without.
I don’t want to be a burden.
Other people need more than me.
That opportunity probably isn’t for someone like me.

In this short from Episode 50 of *Suddenly Different*, Karim Boktor speaks about how early experiences of scarcity can quietly shape what we believe we are allowed to want.

The things we stop asking for.
The needs we minimise.
The dreams we make smaller.
The responsibility we take on before we are old enough to understand it.

Sometimes the old belief was created to protect us.

But years later, it can still be making decisions.

This clip is a gentle invitation to ask:

Where am I still choosing from scarcity?

Where am I shrinking my needs before anyone else has said no?

And what would change if I allowed myself to want more without guilt?

What if the thing stopping you isn’t outside you?

Not the opportunity.
Not the timing.
Not the door.
Not the other person.

What if it’s the story inside?

In this clip from Episode 50 of *Suddenly Different*, Karim Boktor shares the idea of the “inner stutter.”

Not the stutter people can hear.

The one we carry quietly.

The hesitation before we back ourselves.
The fear before we speak.
The handbrake before we act.
The old belief we keep treating as truth.

Maybe it shows up before the promotion.
Before the business.
Before the relationship.
Before the difficult conversation.
Before the version of ourselves we keep postponing.

Sometimes the thing stopping us is not outside.

It is inside.

And noticing it may be the first doorway out.
