i’ve seen a trend in healing that continues to amaze me: obedience. over the past 1.5 years i’ve watched @lyndikennedy show up every friday to dive into God’s word with other women. she’s not a pastor or a minister. she’s just someone that loves Jesus and said yes to Jesus even when it felt uncomfortable.

and because of that multiple women have had the chance to come to a place of safety and restoration, where they can let their guard down and be met with true acceptance.

the stories shared this retreat brought me to tears and are etched into my heart forever. the vulnerability shown was nothing short of astonishing. and people walked away freed.

after being in the healing industry for 13+ years, i’ve realized obedience has the power to offload oppression and unleash freedom to the one who says a simple “yes.” how could your yes change someone’s life today?

✨GOD WILL RESTORE YOUR LOST YEARS ✨
For four consecutive years, the harvest was completely wiped out. God’s people were brought to their knees in more ways than one. But “the Lord became jealous for his land and had pity on his people.” God said, “Behold I am sending to you grain, wine and oil, and you will be satisfied Joel 2:18-19

In the coming years, God said, their fields would yield an abundance that would make up for what had been lost: “The threshing floor shall be full of grain; the vats shall overflow with wine and oil. . . . You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied” Joel 2:24-26 🫶💖✝️🙏

No one talks about how hard it is stepping out from a season where the Lord has kept you hidden. ✨But the Lord was constantly reminding me that life isn’t meant to do alone. 💖💖You’re not meant to fight battles alone. To suffer alone. Yes, sometimes the Lord intentionally will isolate us and remove everyone and everything so we can fix our eyes only on HIM. He will purposefully keep us hidden. ✨FOR A SEASON. ✨

But then there becomes a point where your isolation becomes your shield and your protector. We are called to guard our hearts (Proverbs 4:23) yes, But I realized after enduring so much warfare and betrayal, I became nice and comfy just hanging with the LORD. But He wanted so much more for me.

I started longing and praying for those Kingdom Friendships and at times, I would step out in faith, but when I’d look for the fruit but didn’t see it, I’d retreat back to my hidden place. It feels like you aren’t being seen. But that’s just a tactic from the enemy.

We NEED community. 😍💖✨ We need covering. Accountability. And friendships that will uplift and support us. We are one body made up of many parts.

After praying for friendships with sisters in Christ, this weekend, suddenly the LORD moved in power and answered my prayers. My obedience brought into my life so many amazing, hilarious women on FIRE for Christ 🔥They all have the fruits of the Holy Spirit and BIG OLE hearts for JESUS 😍😭 and I am soo GRATEFUL AND HAPPY to have met each and every one of you beautiful LADIES. GOD he has good plans for each of us. Jeremiah 29:11

This women’s retreat LAST weekend brought me to my knees In gratitude. Thank you Lyndi and Courtney for covering us in prayer and pouring into each of us. GOD IS SO GOOD💖🫶💖

Every. Single. One. 🥹

Every single one of these women are proof of Gods grace. We’ve been through the fire but not consumed. Crushed and bruised, but Chosen… for such a time as this. We’ve endured pain for purpose. And we’ve been beautifully restored for glory.

These women are all the definition of strength and beauty. My sisters ✝️🫶🏼🥹🙏🏼

I just finished unpacking my car after 4 days of a women’s retreat that I poured my soul into. But it wasn’t my retreat, it was His. I just answered the call. I don’t even have the words to describe what happened this weekend but it was not of this world… there aren’t words for it!! He really loves His daughters and He showed up for them in a BIG way this weekend!!! I can’t wait to share more from it. 🩷⚔️✝️🙏

Struggling with temptation? The Bible calls us to deny the desires of the flesh and walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5:16 reminds us, ’So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.’Denying the flesh isn’t easy, but Romans 8:13 gives us strength: ‘For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.’

When we set our minds on things above, as in Colossians 3:2-3, we learn to surrender: Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.’

Let’s live by the Spirit and walk in freedom!

Do not be deceived by those who appear as sheep but are truly wolves in disguise. Many will use sweet, alluring words to lead you astray. Stay vigilant, for it is far more difficult to detect a lie when it is mixed with truth. Yet, children of God, we are blessed with the gift of the Holy Spirit. Let Him guide you each day, revealing those who are not true followers. Die to yourself, and live by the Spirit. Share the truth of Jesus with others, boldly and without shame. Do not hesitate to speak of our Lord and Savior. As you continue to immerse yourself in Scripture daily, you will gain the wisdom to discern the wolves hidden among the flock.

No te dejes engañar por aquellos que parecen ovejas pero en realidad son lobos disfrazados. Muchos usarán palabras dulces y atractivas para desviarte. Mantente vigilante, porque es mucho más difícil detectar una mentira cuando está mezclada con la verdad. Sin embargo, hijos de Dios, hemos sido bendecidos con el don del Espíritu Santo. God can make a miracle happen at any moment, and many will believe because they saw. Faith, as stated in Hebrews 11:1, is “the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” According to the Bible, in my opinion, we do not need miracles to believe in God or to have faith in Him. If you need a miracle, if you need to see to believe, then you do not have faith. But God is merciful and understanding, and He did use many moments—like the man coming back to life after touching Elijah’s bones—to help His people realize they had gone in the wrong direction, hoping they would have faith in Him again.

Sometimes, it’s quiet when we pray, and we don’t get a response, and that is okay. When you think you need a response from God, remember that He already sent His only Son, who died for us on the cross for our sins and rose again three days later. Is this not enough evidence?

Dios puede hacer un milagro en cualquier momento, y muchos creerán porque lo vieron. La fe, como se dice en Hebreos 11:1, es “la certeza de lo que se espera, la convicción de lo que no se ve.” En mi opinión, no necesitamos milagros para creer en Dios ni para tener fe en Él. Si necesitas un milagro, si necesitas ver para creer, entonces no tienes fe. Pero Dios es misericordioso y comprensivo, y usó muchos momentos—como el hombre que volvió a la vida después de tocar los huesos de Elías—para ayudar a Su pueblo a darse cuenta de que se habían desviado, con la esperanza de que volvieran a tener fe en Él.

A veces, cuando oramos, todo está en silencio y no recibimos una respuesta, y eso está bien. Cuando pienses que necesitas una respuesta de Dios, recuerda que Él ya envió a Su único Hijo, quien murió por nosotros en la cruz por nuestros pecados y resucitó tres días después. ¿No es esto suficiente evidencia?
