Three Huskers got engaged with their community today! Desiree, Karina and Abby volunteered for the Domesti-PUPS Raise the Woof Tailgate, serving food, greeting people and hearing their stories with their service dogs.

My time in Nebraska is coming to an end. Over the past seven years, this place has given me so much. Countless memories, lifelong friendships, two degrees, and opportunities that have helped shape me into the person I am today. I arrived here as an 18-year-old kid chasing a dream, and I leave with experiences and lessons that will stay with me forever.

Nebraska has been so much more than just the place where I went to school. It became home. It gave me teammates who became family, coaches and mentors who pushed me to be better, and friendships that I know will last a lifetime. Some of my greatest accomplishments happened here, but so did some of my biggest challenges, and I am grateful for every single moment because they all helped me grow.

Life is a little up in the air right now, but I am excited to see where this next chapter takes me. While my time living here may be coming to an end, this is not goodbye. It is simply a see you later.

Thank you, Nebraska, for everything you have given me. Thank you for the memories, the opportunities, the people, and the feeling of home. No matter where life takes me next, a piece of my heart will always be here. I will never forget a single moment, and I will forever be proud to call myself a Husker. 🌽🌽❤️❤️
