Andrew Grima (1921 – 2007) is one of my favourite modernists. His work is much sought by collectors. Anglo-Italian designer became the foremost modern jewellery designer in the West End of London in the 1960s and 1970s. Notable pieces include Queen Elizabeth II’s ruby brooch as well as a brooch of lichen cast in gold for Princess Margaret. Examples of Grima’s work are held in the Victoria & Albert Museum and in the collection of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths.

From Paris - when she worked for Van Cleef & Arpels - to Jaipur ; from New York City to London from where she launched the Jewelry Department of Carpenters Workshop Gallery.

While building investments-quality collections overtime with a selection of lost masters like the Brazilian Burle Marx brothers, the Belgian Pol Bury or stylish and wearable jewelry from the Heritage brands including Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Boucheron, Lalaounis, Zolotas, Zacharias also promotes a world of preservation, re-use and sustainability today.
