ad 🎃 PUMPKIN NIGHTS & WHOLESOME VIBES 🍂✨

Is there anything better than a second autumn evening spent with awesome friends, surrounded by pumpkins, twinkly lights and a ridiculous amount of Halloween fun?! 🥹🧡

We headed to @hattersfarmpumpkins for their Pumpkin Nights and it was honestly the cutest evening!

☕️ Sipped on their FAMOUS pumpkin marshmallow hot chocolate (an absolute MUST!)
💥 Shot cannons and embraced our inner big kids
🌽 Got completely lost in the maize maze… because apparently none of us have a sense of direction 🤣
✨ Were absolutely WOWED by all the gorgeous illuminations
🎃 And, of course, picked some pretty awesome pumpkins to take home!

There was just something so lovely about wandering around in the dark, laughing with friends, drinking hot chocolate and soaking up all the autumnal magic! 🍁

If you’re looking for a wholesome spooky season activity that isn’t actually scary, this one needs to be on your list! 👻

The deets;
📍 Hatters Farm, Takeley, Essex
🎃 Pumpkin Nights on various dates, but check website for all events
👻 Perfect for friends, couples and autumn-loving big kids!

Summer is well and truly behind us and it was a busy, stressful, yet very fun time by and large.

Kinda fallen out of sync with doing this sort of thing. I find social media horrible for the most part, but these posts mark fun little diaries and records for me.

Lots been going on, but feeling the most settled and generally happy I have for quite a while at the moment. Settled into a new job, we're finally getting internet tomorrow (LOL NO APPARENTLY), and a lot of pressures that have been wearing away at me have eased up.

Gonna try this new multiple captions crap to just sort of layup some bits and pieces of what I've done and where I've been and who with. Some are mine, some are nicked.

Did a seaside trip with some pals to Margate. Had an absolute blast and ate an absolute heap of fish.

Scott had a meltdown because of beer Jenga (justifiable).

Spent a lot more time with these lads than we normally manage in a year which has been amazing.

Sorry Paul, but I didn't wanna leave you out of pics from that weekend and this was the only photo I had of you. Looking good though.

As anyone who has spoken to me in the last six months knows, I have taken up golf this year and immensely enjoyed it much to everyone's chagrin. I make no apologies.

Also been bullying other mates to get into it.

For my birthday, Milly and I took a nice sojourn to Whitstable and Herne Bay. This was sunrise when I needed to get up for a wee.

We also went to Cromer which was lovely in September.

Reconnecting with the UK has been very good for me this year. We really do have a great country, and while I'll always want to travel, this isn't always straightforward. It's been very nice to actually get out and see a bit more of our green and pleasant land.

Canterbury was also a first for me.

This was a very old wooden church Milly and I drove out to a couple of weeks ago after we went to the bunker.

Our noisy neighbours up here in Waltham Forest. A real highlight of where we live is our proximity to nature, which was something we both really wanted after Australia.

I was just looking to go for a wee.

I wasn't going for a wee here, but this was in Somerset and I'm looking forward to go

Another year, another @2000trees_festival in the bag, and it was a scorcher!

I won't lie, in the lead up to the festival I wasn't feeling totally myself and anxious thoughts were prevailing. However every single person in these photos pulled me out of it, whether they realised it or not.

If we talked for 5 minutes or 5 hours, believe me, it helped, and I appreciate you for it. Big love.

Just half a Hoopla today but could not have asked for better. Cascada were 🔥🔥 but Jane McDonald showed how LEGENDS do it. Camp, fabulous and everything

And £16 for a double vodka!

I go to so many gigs but finding videos without flashing lights took me back away…

10 months after missing her at Hoopla cos of 🩼🩼 I finally got to see the amazing Kesha, totally thanks to @ldn_kirst ❤️🏳️‍⚧️🔥🏳️‍🌈😍 every song was a total banger - and all this despite having years of not being able to make music / perform. Brixton Academy’s sound levels were a bit off all night but still a 5 ⭐️ show from a total icon. Loved it, and now I’m ready for summer!! Make it extra gay please

We spent a very wholesome day out in Walthamstow with @kariss182 and @sscottify showing us all the best spots (yes, there’s lots of content to come 😂) but dinner was bloody gorgeous 😍

We ate at @arteepasta_ and my gosh, I’m still so full up this morning! The food was just stunning, great service and a quirky little venue too.

What we ordered between us;
🍞 Focaccia with Rosemary & Olive Oil
🧀 Burrata with Roasted Cherry tomatoes, Frozen Pear, Basil & Olive Oil
🍅 Artichoke Pure, Sun Dried Tomatoes & Parsley Oil
🥩 Bresaola with Ricotta, Reduced Balsamic & Olive Oil
🍅 Spaghetti Alla Pomodoro with Burratina
🥜 Vegan Farfalle with Cavolo Nero & Hazelnut Pesto
🌶️ Ravioli with Porchetta, Nduja & Black Pudding in a Butter, Nduja & White Wine Sage Sauce
🍝 Pappardelle with Slow cooked Beef Ragu & Parmigiano Reggiano
🫑 Triple Cooked Deconstructed Cauliflower served with Roasted Artichoke Puree, Topped with Sicilian Chilli & Red Pepper Sauce

If you’re local, or even anywhere nearby, I recommend a visit! We booked our table with @thefork_uk and got 50% off the food too!
