POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

No such thing as bad weather. Only a costume that wasn’t built for it.

Our annual Halloween costume contest is back — $500, $100, and $100 gift cards, plus $50 each for:
The Five-Minute Costume — layers, one accessory, done

Went All Out — you know who you are!!
The Whole Family — we’re suckers for a matching set
Thrifted, Borrowed, or Made — built from what you already had

One rule: iksplor layers have to be part of the costume.

Post and tag @letsgoiksplor with #iksplorhalloween, or email mailto:letsgo@iksplor.com. Entries close Nov 2, winners announced Nov 4.

By entering you’re giving us permission to share your photo on iksplor channels.

Freezing at the trailhead, sweating by the lake. Fall in the Tetons does both before lunch. 🏔️

Our kids wear one merino layer for all of it.
🐑 18.9 micron superfine merino, soft from the first wear

🌡️ Warm when they stop, cool when they’re scrambling

🧺 Easy to wash, and it lasts long enough to hand down

🎒 Fewer layers to pack, fewer to argue about
Where are you hiking this fall? Tell us below 👇

See you out there. Life is better outside.

Ten years ago we did this iconic hike with our dad, Wild Bill, I was 36 weeks pregnant with my oldest. Today I hiked it again with both my girls.

Yesterday would have been his 77th birthday.

The greatest gift you can give the people you love is your time and your presence. Dad gave us so much of his. We didn’t get nearly enough years with him, but every bit of the time he gave us was full of adventure and love. For that we feel like the luckiest.

Happy birthday, Wild Bill.

Yesterday was our biggest day ever. Thank you.

So here’s what’s left. The 50% off rack is final sale and we’re not restocking. Once a size is gone, that’s it. Adventure Dresses are $60, shorts and tanks are $25, kids underwear is $10.

Everything else is 20% off through Monday, no code needed.

The models were compensated in ice cream 🍦, but Maeve Kailey’s two year old wasn’t buying it 🤣. Shop the half off rack, before everything is gone!!

Back to school looks a little different for outdoor kids. Merino handles the classroom, the trail after pickup, and the wash cycle that follows. What all the iksplorers are wearing this fall, now if we just had them in our size 🤔

Grand adventure tonight. Nobody left their camp chair.

Read-aloud in the aspens, and the story did all the traveling. Some of my favorite connection with these girls happens inside a good book, one chapter past when we meant to stop.

The merino kept everyone warm enough to find out what happens next. 📖🧚‍♀️

BEST OF THE BEST BIRTHDAY

3

40

Turned 41 deep in the backcountry with a horse named Kahuna, who had zero patience for a distracted rider.

We learned a lot from each other. Truthfully, I learned more from her. Five whole days disconnected, then back to real life to also mark 10 years since I became Everleigh’s mom. Milestone birthdays have a way of waking you up to how fast time actually moves.

Wherever you are, take this as your permission to live fully and stay present. She kept me present for all five days, mostly because the second I drifted, she’d try to bite one of her coworkers. 😅

Keep iksploring and thank you all for the sweet bday messages!

📸 Throwing it way back… Our very first photo shoot.🥹❤️

No budget or fancy studio. Just a some friends, one with a camera… a bunch of prototype patches, and a whole lot of determination.

Looking back, it’s wild to see how much has changed and how much hasn’t. We’ve always believed in making gear last longer, expressing yourself, and having a little fun along the way. 🪩

Building a bootstrapped, female-founded company has taken thousands of late nights, countless setbacks, a lot of grit, and an incredible community of people like YOU who believed in what we were building.

As we celebrate 10 years of NOSO this month, we’ll be sharing the stories, photos, and people who helped make it all possible.

Thank you for being part of the journey. Here’s to the first 10 years… and the next 10. 🥂❤️

Sometimes the best campsites aren’t the ones you reserve…

They’re the ones you find just before sunset.

🌭📚❤️

We struck out on campground reservations today.

Just before sunset, we found a quiet spot on BLM land.

The girls pulled out their books, roasted hot dogs, and settled into camp like we’d been there all week.

Moments like this are why we believe getting outside matters. Public lands give families room to wander, slow down, and make memories you can’t plan for.

We hope our kids—and someday their kids—get to have adventures like this too.

🤍 Here’s to keeping wild places wild.
