So I Guess retirement wasn’t permanent after all🍊
.
After 5+ years of lead coaching and Head coaching at F45, I thought I knew what it meant to be comfortable being the lead on the main stage.
.
Then I decided to become a student again 🧠 💥
.
A New room. A WHOLE New language. New systems. Pushing myself to elevate to a higher standard 🙏🏽
.
I’d be lying if I said the transition into coaching at Orangetheory has been easy. There have been growing pains, humbling moments, plenty of reps, and a reminder that experience somewhere else doesn’t automatically mean mastery somewhere new.
.
But maybe that’s the beauty of it.
.
You’re never too experienced to learn. Never too accomplished to be coached. And never too old to learn some new tricks🦮
.
So yeah… officially out of coaching retirement. 🧡
.
Grateful for everything that built the coach I already am, humbled by everything I’m learning now, and excited to keep putting in the work toward the coach I’m becoming.

If your knee isn't clearing a tennis ball, we need to talk about your mobility 🫣 Grab a soccer ball and a tennis ball and test your depth. Rules are in the description! Tag a friend who skips leg day. 💀 👇

The Setup: Place either your soccer ball (Level A) or tennis ball (Level B) directly on the ground next to where your back knee will drop.
Step Into It: Take a comfortable step forward into a lunge stance. Keep your torso upright and your core engaged.
Drop Low: Lower your hips straight down until your back thigh is vertical and your back knee is resting exactly at or below the top height of the ball.
Hold and Verify: Hold the bottom position for 1 full second to prove you have control over the depth. Your front knee should be at a clean 90-degree angle!
Drive Up: Push through your front heel to return to the starting position.

CYRUS IS THE BACK TO BACK KOTM CHAMPION ‼️

KARLA FROM VIANNA BROTHERS IS APRIL QOTM CHAMPION ‼️

This month’s competition marks the first month where we have opened our doors to the entire Chicagoland area! We couldn’t be happier with the result.

The KOTM comp ran for nearly an hour and a half and two changes in rule stipulations because everyone was competing so fiercely.

In the end Cyrus and Karla have earned their spots in the cash prize tournament in January 2027 and immortalized their names on the KOTM/QOTM trophy ‼️
