It’s been 11 days since my biggest dream came true and truthfully I’m still In awe. Today is July 1st, which officially begins my term serving as the National Senior Beta Club President, a position I have dreamed to achieve for years. But, I wouldn’t be where I am today without a few very very special people.

To LCHS Beta, thank you! I couldn’t have even dreamed of being able to run for National office without your help. In off time, y’all campaigned for me tirelessly and put on an AMAZING campaign skit, National Champs!! My sponsors are truly the best and worked so hard even in their off time and over the summer to even get us to Nationals and I am so thankful.

To Beth Moore, Tim Shelby, Bailee Oster, PT Flippo, Makayla Glenn, Karlee Thomson, and all of East Robertson, + Josue, thank you for being my second club and a family. Without y’all I don’t know where I would be. Mrs. Moore, you have always been there to be my biggest supporter even when I was stressed to the max about even the smallest things at Nationals and everywhere in between. Yall put up with me at Disney and allowed me to travel with yall 13 hours away so willingly so I wouldn’t have to miss Nationals last year and I can’t thank yall enough (even though I didn’t get any Dole Whip 😢🍦)

To our Tennessee Council, especially Mr. Parham and Mama Puckett, thank you for all you do for Tennessee Beta. Yall put on the BEST State Convention year after year and your work does not go unnoticed. Go Vols! 🍊🤍

To the National Beta staff, thank you for all you do and put into this origination. A lot of people have no idea the amount of work that goes into even planning a convention, much less executing it flawlessly and that is exactly what yall do every year. Mr. Bobby Hart, Mrs. Amy, Mr. Eric, Mrs. Donna, Mrs. Denia, Mrs. Mitzi, Mr. Damon, just to name a few, thank you again for all that you do.
And Tyler, of course he deserves a separate thank you!

Lastly to you National Beta, thank you for trusting in me and believing in me. I can’t wait to see what this year holds! 🥳

As I packed away my suit and badge for the final time, I realized that this chapter was never really about a title.

Serving as one of your 2025–2026 Sevierville Leadership Representatives has been one of the greatest honors of my life, but what I will carry with me long after the title is gone are the people, the memories, and the relationships that shaped me along the way. The conversations in hallways, the late nights, the laughter, the encouragement, the lessons learned, and the friendships formed have meant more to me than any position ever could.

Thank you to National Beta for trusting me with this opportunity and for allowing me to represent an organization that has impacted my life in countless ways. Thank you to the National Office staff for your support, guidance, and belief in student leaders. Thank you to my fellow representatives and officers for the friendships, the countless memories, the support, and the moments that reminded me why Beta is so much more than a club. Thank you to my sponsors, Mrs. Moore and Mr. Shelby, for encouraging me, challenging me, and standing beside me every step of the way. Thank you to my @erbetaclub for your constant support, and thank you to every Beta I have met throughout this journey. Each of you has left a mark on my story.

This role taught me that leadership is not about the title you hold—it’s about the lives you touch, the relationships you build, and the impact you leave behind.

While this chapter is ending, the friendships, memories, and lessons will stay with me forever. No matter where life takes us next, I hope we continue to show up for others, work hard, lead with kindness, and never take for granted the people who walk beside us.
