Two days ago, 14 years of softball ended for me. This sport has been such an incredible part of my life and I am so grateful for every bit of it. It has put so many amazing people into my life and has given me some of my best friends. Although I’m really sad to say I won’t be pursuing my 8 year old dreams of going D1, I am more than excited to start the next chapter of my life. First of all, I would like to thank every single one of my coaches. Thank you to Jerry Dodd for encouraging me to go further. Thank you to Jeff Suloff and Jarod Juarez for teaching me to love the game. Thank you to Stacey Pearson who taught me to play with my heart and always have a good attitude. Thank you to Fred Barrandey for taking me to the next level. Thank you to Erika for teaching me how to pitch a softball and always play with a smile. Thank you to Jerry and Braxton Innis for teaching me how to hit and helping me stay true to myself. Thank you to Adam Hoffman for teaching me to play fearlessly. And thank you to Micheal and Adam Galicia for pushing me to be the best. Brooklyn rusch, Mireya Pearson, Avery Wolfsberger, Rachel Brothers, Lexi leuthy, Tessa Strnad, and Madie Artery, you guys have been some of the most incredible people and teammates throughout the years and I couldn’t be more grateful to play alongside you guys. Thank you to everyone else who has believed in me and helped me overcome some of my biggest challenges. This sport has been the biggest part of my life, and there has been many ups and downs, but I am thankful for every bit.
