Happy Fourth from our THIRD 🥹 🍉 🍋 🇺🇸

LENNON THEODORA DYER
meaning “love gift of God”
[lovingly referred to as “Lemon” in our house]
Born Tuesday, June 30th at 6:53pm, with a lightening bolt entrance of a 2 hour labor.⚡️Weighing 8 lbs 3 oz of cuteness. So thankful to the nurses at Sentara Leigh who showed up on the scene just in time for her arrival! 😂 Special shout out to @_aimee.roberts with @birth_insight for being the greatest doula and birthing coach and to my mom for being a supportive presence to Jacob and I the whole time! WE LOVE LENNON. 🥳
Birth story to come! 📝

// 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟔 felt like the 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 and an 𝐞𝐧𝐝. 💛

Within cubicle walls, the “crazy” dreams of a very passionate 25-year-old began to brew. ☕️ Beyond those walls, I traded heels 👠 and business attire for climbing shoes 🧗🏻‍♀️, chalk dust in my hair - - and let’s be honest, everywhere. I spent some of my favorite moments bonding with my best friend over stupid Snapchat filters 🌈🐱 , supporting wildly talented friends at house shows 🎶, and wandering trails, canyons, and mountains ⛰️ that reminded me how small I was - - and how much more alive I wanted to feel.

Looking back now, I can see it more clearly. With so much to give and so much life yet to live, somewhere in the midst of it all, I was being quietly shaped for a future I couldn’t yet fully imagine - - one that would stretch me, ground me, and change the course of my life: 🇪🇸

The older I get the more proud I am to be Virginia born and raised (and to have friends like @karliedare). 🍂

Escaped to the mountains to hunt for beavers with @karliedare 🦫
The air turned golden pink in a span of 10 seconds at sundown last night and I’m certain we need to be getting outside more regularly as humans. Green pastures and still waters are a great prescription for our ailments.
