The way we speak to ourselves matters, and so does the perspective we bring into every workout.

Progress isn’t always measured by the mirror—it can be found in strength, energy, confidence, resilience, and all the things your body allows you to do.

Let’s train from a place of gratitude, not punishment.
Celebrate your body, speak kindly to yourself, and remember: you’re capable of more than you think.🩵

8 weeks to go! This week I hit 30 miles, no coaching miles, purely my own. My weekly volume was the same as last week, but at my training pace and without a long run this week. I added in one workout this week & Strava says I hit my fastest mile split so far in 2026 🤭 I’ve got another workout and a 12 miler long run lined up for this week. 💪🏼 and I’m still trying to find someone to join in on the half marathon in September - so if you’re interested, this is your sign, let’s go! (Recommended for anyone who has base mileage .. you still have 8 weeks!)

✨ One coaching highlight of this week was working with a group of ambitious, strong, fast women who are tackling a HYROX event in the fall. It was so much fun to get back to coaching a workout on a track.

🌅 A quick weekend trip to the beach offered a nice change of scenery and a classic sampling of another towns track. I find myself switching to a longer training cycle when planning around a trip.

Double unders aren’t just a skill, they’re a reminder that progress comes from patience, persistence, and belief in yourself.

This training cycle, we’re focusing on building them up, one jump at a time. Keep jumping, the progress you’re chasing is closer than you think. 🤍🙌
