That’s a wrap on year 2 of my college education 🫣 This year was definitely more eventful: Got COVID for the first time, went to band parties, worked on some pretty cool productions, got sick..a lot.., slayed at rocky horror, created the icon Frank the dummy, spoke up about my mental health at a conference and got two new friends. Overall pretty good 💅🏽

Last Friday was the premiere of Karmic Konfusion. Being up on the big screen, what an incredible experience. I can’t believe it. Thank you to everyone who made this possible, an amazing team that produced a fantastic film

Me and who?…😅 Sike, just wrapped production on my last film project of my college career—@karmickonfusion directed by @e___luna. Senior year has been super hectic but also really rewarding and I’m very proud of what we put on screen. It takes a minute for these projects to be shared publicly because of festivals but hopefully I’ll be able to share it with y’all very soon. Liz, thanks for being like an older sister to me these past two years. You’re so talented and it’s been very cool to grow together as professionals and as friends. Thanks @btsryan for trusting me enough to co-produce with me. It was a big commitment but you absolutely killed it. Thanks to all the OGs who’ve been here since Fatherhood and to all the new faces I met this year. Finally, thanks to all my friends and family who blindly support me in all my projects no matter what 🫶🏽 I have some cool opportunities coming up that I’ll hopefully be able to share soon and it wouldn’t have been possible without all of y’all. During my time here, I’m very proud to have been involved with projects that champion diverse stories and creatives and I can’t wait for what’s next for everyone 🫣 now onto spring quarter 🥱☀️

Karmic Konfusion premiered on Friday! It has been the most rewarding and tiring 6months+ of my life and being able to share it with all these people was the best pay off possible. I'm incredibly proud of every person who worked toward making karmic a success and don't think I've ever given or received so many hugs in my life. Congratulations to every member of each crew from the four films and to all the other directors. It was a beautiful night of screenings. More to share soon!

Follow the Karmic fate of these two Konfusingly Contrasted Characters in the 106 film ”Karmic Konfusion”🍷📄 Wes, a young man who is coming to terms with his sexuality, and Phil, an ex conversion therapist who is planning to end his life, have a fated encounter that changes both of their lives. Written and Directed by: @e___luna Co-produced by: @ssjavier4 and @btsryan ❓What is a 106❓ FAMST 106 is a production course where 4 scripts are selected by a panel of industry professionals to be created over the course of 2 quarters. For the course, students work together as a crew through pre-production, on-set production, and post-production to create 4 short films! A separate post to just say how fulfilling it was to direct! A lot of collaborative effort went into this project- and continues to in post production- but being on set in this capacity was a first and hopefully won’t be the last time. As a young female director 😫 I was nervous to see how my ideas would be taken and was met with nothing but validation and excitement across the crew. And I loved having majority women surrounding me on set - let’s do it more! Writer/Director- me! Karmic Konfusion has wrapped as of a couple of weeks ago! Wanted to offer a particular thanks to every person who helped to achieve this feat and bring the idea to life. From helping to write the story, form a pitch, create a shot list and schedule, to lighting/ blocking/ acting/ shooting on the days of. Not only the people in these pictures, but everyone who has offered advice and support along the way! To those pictured, to the Karmic Krew- thank u for showing up and smiling for all 5 days. Giving the most effort and just being part of one of the best experiences I’ve had in my student career. I can’t express my gratitude enough 🫶🏼 Writer/Director- me!
