If you would have told me this time last year the Emerald Elegance had multiple grand champs ESPECIALLY in Indiana, I would have never believed you. This year has been so so amazing and i’m so happy i made the decision to come back for my second year of show choir. I have made new friendships and grown so many old ones with this group and i am forever thankful for it. I am so lucky to have the directors we have and the people in choir. I cant wait to see what states holds for us this weekend as our last competition! I’m so ready to see what will happen with next year as well!! I never knew you could love something more than you thought you already did! So happy i found my people 💎

“The older you get, the more you realize it’s not about who knows you the longest, it’s about who makes you feel seen, heard, understood, appreciated, supported and loved.” If you had told me last year that my life would be drastically changed by the time freshman year was ending, I wouldn’t believe you. The amount of friendships I have gained with show choir has completely amazed me yet I wouldn’t have it other way. Seniors- I will forever miss your mentorship and your capability to include the underclassman. To the rest of the choir- I quickly realized how much hard work and commitment this program took after seeing you all the first few weeks of choir and I can’t say there was one person whom I would doubt their determination. Inclusivity is extremely important in running a program and I believe the members of this choir has excelled in making sure everyone was apart of this family. My freshman year wouldn’t have been the same without this program and I cannot wait to see what these next years hold in my musical future. As we close this season, I want to thank each and everyone of you for being supportive and uplifting in the times where we struggled, individually and as a whole, and I am proud of each and everyone of you. Thank you guys for an amazing season.. I love you all!💚 #showchoir
