I have so many thoughts after yesterday, but mostly just… THANK YOU.

My mom and sister planned the most beautiful baby shower and I honestly couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day. Every little detail was so thoughtful, and you could feel how much love went into the whole day. It was filled with so many of the women I adore and I left feeling so grateful.

Pregnancy is such a weird thing. It’s exciting and so so special, but it can also feel lonely sometimes. You’re carrying this little peanut that no one else has met yet, and so much of the experience just stays in your own head and body. Yesterday reminded me that both our little boy and I are already surrounded by so much love.

To my family, my friends, Chris’s family, and everyone who took the time to celebrate our little boy… thank you. Thank you for showing up, for loving him already, and for making me feel so supported. It means more than you’ll ever know.

Chris - thank you for being the person I get to do all of this with. I couldn’t ask for a better partner or dad for our son. I love you a whole lot.

My heart is so full. Thank you all for giving us a day we’ll never forget. 🧡💛

Chef David has a new first here at Heirloom Kitchen - his dessert debut! ✨

Introducing the ‘Raita’, an elegant balance of creamy, crunchy, savory, and sweet. Chef David took inspiration for this dish from his fellow creative and collaborator, Ricardo Rodriguez. “It was Ricki’s ‘Tzatziki’ cocktail that inspired me. His transformation of that flavor profile into a beautiful clarified cocktail made me want to dive head first into creating this dessert.”

The last four years allowed me to create, challenge myself, and grow in an industry that I love so much. It taught me how to be a leader, a teacher, and hopefully someone meaningful to the people around me.

There were a lot of amazing services, celebrations, festivals, guest chef dinners, openings, a closing, and everything in between. But more than anything this chapter gave me a space to grow into myself, surrounded by incredibly talented, passionate, hilarious, hardworking people who made every day meaningful, while doing some insanely cool shit.

Thank you to everyone who was part of it. I’ll carry these years and my appreciation for all of you with me forever.

It feels really surreal stepping into such a different season of life now between a new job and becoming a mom. A lot is changing, but it’s made me really grateful for every person, lesson, and moment that brought me here.

Next chapter (or what feels like a whole ass new book) — tuning inward, becoming the best mother I can be, and pouring my heart into creating a space for community, connection, and really beautiful things at @oakhillfarm.nj

Heirloom Kitchen has always been built by the people who show up for it. Every chef, every collaborator, every person who came to grow their craft here has woven something into what this place is. That’s not luck. That’s ten years of the right people finding each other. 💕
