Berlin / Morphine Raum! Qırım sounded. It was wonderful to play for you yesterday. So many beautiful encounters. And it was recorded, thanks to the master himself, Rabih Beaini!!! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!!! As the master once wrote: No matter how fast you run, your shadow more than keeps up. Sometimes, it’s in front! Only full, overhead sun diminishes your shadow. But that shadow has been serving you! What hurts you, blesses you. Darkness is your candle. Your boundaries are your quest. I can’t explain this, but it would break the glass cover over your heart, and there’s no fixing that.

Two Weeks Ago, My first time attending @sxswlondon and it definitely lived up to the hype. Beyond the talks and showcases, what stood out most was the chance to exchange ideas with people from different backgrounds who all share the same passion for creativity and innovation. Every conference reminds me that the music industry is becoming increasingly interconnected. Building meaningful relationships across borders is just as important as discovering great artists. Grateful for the experience, the conversations, and the new perspectives. Excited to see how these connections can contribute to strengthening the bridge between Southeast Asia and the global creative community through @axeanfestival. Until next time. 🚀 👕 @james.boogie #SXSWLondon #SXSW #SRMonDuty #axeanfestival

Next @royalcollegeofart showcase at @sxswlondon — artist three: @juliapytko 🎙️ PYTKO is a London-based, Polish-born producer, singer and songwriter who treats music as material. Voice, field recordings, unconventional textures — layered into ethereal compositions that sit somewhere between experimental electronic, alt-pop and sound art. Her upcoming Tarot-inspired EP explores spirituality in the age of algorithms, translating symbolic systems into digitally driven sound worlds. Latest single: The Fool (2026). On Phantasy Sound. Heard on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and NTS. Written about in Rolling Stone UK and CRACK Magazine. Tuesday 2 June, @shoreditchth (The Ditch), 5:00–5:30pm. Passes via link in bio. Now the @royalcollegeofart showcase at @sxswlondon — artist two: @a___________________________z 🪐 Anne Duffau is a cultural producer, researcher, and founder of A—Z — an exploratory, nomadic curatorial platform built to challenge preconceived ideas about race, gender identities and so-called history in terms of power relationships. She produces live music under A—Z/Alpha through collaborations including MAENADS, Polisonics and The New Adolescents, and monthly shows on @resonancefm and stegi.radio. Her latest series Always Coming Home — hosted at FACT, @corsica.studios and @camdenartcentre — is ongoing. A tutor on the @rca_contemporaryartpractice at the RCA, and one of the most restlessly curious practitioners working across sound, curation and research in London right now. Tuesday 2 June, Shoreditch Town Hall (The Ditch), @shoreditchth 3:00–3:30pm. Passes via link in bio. Photo 3: @mpatycki #SXSWLondon #RoyalCollegeOfArt #AlphaAZ #AnneDuffau #ExperimentalMusic London

Introducing the lineup for the @royalcollegeofart showcase at @sxswlondon 🎙️ First up: @karolinalebek Karolina is an artist and musician based between London and Wroclaw, working across video, photography, installation and live performance. Her practice moves through consciousness, ecology and mental health — giving new form to the sacred, the ritual and the body in the context of geological time. Concerned with generational trauma, migration, and the intersections between human artefacts and ancestral knowledge, her work embraces a poetry of decay and transformation that rearranges history to shed new light on the present. Catch her live at Shoreditch Town Hall (The Ditch), Tuesday 2 June, 2:00–2:30pm. 🎟️ Day passes from £25 — link in bio #SXSWLondon #RoyalCollegeOfArt #KarolinaLebek #SoundArt #ExperimentalMusic London

Upset The Rhythm is emerging from its live-music winter hibernation… Next Tuesday (Jan 20th) we will be upping sticks to Theatreship for the first time. Theatreship is a historic cargo boat moored in Canary Wharf, that just happens to be an amazing, intimate arts venue! We have the dazzling Susannah Stark & Band headlining this show, with Karolina Lebek and Ecka Mordecai turning in spirited performances alongside. If you enjoy evocative soundscapes, ritualistic poetry and entwined folk textures, we’ve got you covered - this promises to be a very special genre-fluid evening aboard a floating vessel. We even have Katie Shannon (NTS) DJ-ing through the night too, sublime times. We hope you can join us. See you there! UTR x @earlywater88 @karolinalebek @ecka_mordecai @katieshannon23 @night_school @apostolos_kasparis @theatreship

It’s been four years since we started changing the ways we approach the land in our family’s olive grove and two years since we started sharing the beauty of harvest with friends. ASHER LEVITAS - IT’S LIKE LAST TIME BUT THIS TIME YOU’VE GOT A GUN A new track forming part of ‘The Impermanence Project’, a large-scale collaborative initiative - released today at mortalitytables.bandcamp.com ‘It’s Like Last Time But This Time You’ve Got A Gun’ steadily intensifies, surging toward an abrupt crescendo. A dreamlike haze spirals into storm clouds of noise and distortion, then collapses suddenly into silence. The title suggests an alternate version of something already played out. Will the cycle repeat? Or has something changed for good? - Asher Levitas, London, May 2025 Tracklist: 1. It’s Like Last Time But This Time You’ve Got A Gun Written and produced by Asher Levitas @asherlevitas Mastered by Stephan Mathieu at Schwebung Mastering @studioschwebung Artwork and photograph: ‘Eros’ by Karolina Lebek @karolinalebek A Mortality Tables Product MTP9
