Woodland Baby Shower 🌿
This set made me nervous - I had never painted animals before… Plants and trees? Yes. Animals? No. But I knew this was the design I wanted to use, and when I finished them I was SO DANG proud of myself! The customer loved them, and I hope you do too!

Happy solstice, friends! 🌞 Since the Stone Age, humans have celebrated the Winter Solstice on what we know today as December 21st. The longest night and darkest day, a sacred time of rest and reflection. In Latin, solstice is made of two words: sol– meaning “the sun” and sistere meaning “to make stand.” The sun standing still. A moment of dark limbo as we prepare to witness the slow build of the suns transitional shift toward brighter days ahead. As you rest in the peace of darkness, be reminded that your inner light never dims. And maybe celebrate that by lighting a candle. 🕯️
