This Thanksgiving I have more than ever to be grateful for. So happy to finally announce - WE ARE OPENING A STOREFRONT!
I spent the last few months training several new employees as bread demand continued to grow. We quickly realized that there’s no way our little backyard bakery can sustain our regular bread production AND the upcoming holidays and king cake season. We found an available space 5 minutes away and have been working hard to get it production ready. We are getting closer every day and are determined to be baking out of it soon.
Opening a brick and mortar a year ago was a FAR away dream. With my amazing team taking so much weight off of my shoulders and inspiring me daily with their creativity, it became clear that this is the only path forward. Our Thanksgiving pickups were at our new drive-thru window today and it was so fun and a glimpse into what the future holds for Sunny Akers.

None of this would’ve been possible without the amazing support of our loyal customers, our wholesale partners, my husband @kjakers, our families, and of course my awesome team. Thank you. Stay tuned for opening updates!

Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🍁🍽
