Bear mountain was a trek! 4.84 miles, 2008 elevation

Started a little late for me which was 8:20. Originally Cheryl Long and I were good to Wilson but the parking lot was full 😭 pivoted to Bear which was unforgettable.

Fully exposed through the whole route. 84 never felt so hot 🔥 great views trough out the hike, which was pretty straight up. Better be prepared for those vertical walks because the last mile is 1000 elevation.

My first peak up I walked around the mountain top alone loving the wind the just started. It was a nice reprieve from the brutal onslaught of sunlight. Feeling rushed I went back towards to bottom because I left my Cheryl at a certain point to peak but low and behind there she was! Right before the peak so i went up again to spend some time with her.

The peak is flat, and gives a 360 of red rock no shade just views. We ate pickles, hydrated and took videos before taking off again. Sun felt pretty brutal. Arizona sun doesn't mess around.

Trekking down it was a knee buster, jumping down rocks we forget we even climbed, taking small steps not to slide down rocks. Doable but slightly annoying. I even had to pack mule a little(taking others packs). Just glad I can help.

I can tell you I really wanted a slurpee after this hike. I did get one. Cherry and coke 🤣

Summer is definitely still here in Arizona! I was hot asf and pretty sun exhausted afterward. Was worth all the sweat tho!

Another peak off the list ✅

Views of the roads from the half way point on the way down.

Red rock joy 🏜️

Look at the little cabin down there. I wonder who stays there.

Trees and desert air.

Take me to the trail.

Summer flowers and dirt trails for days.

You know your real friends when you've hiked up mountains together. ❤️

Bday week 💖 mom is out of town so we started celebrating last Friday with steaks and my sister made me a berry upsidedown cake by request 💝@agricultureallison
Then it was mother's day and we had brunc. I took a nap and got a pedicure with a neat cat eye polish. We finished by meeting back up at @drinkundertow 🌺 then on wed @drossartist colored my shoulder 🐠 and I got to try @dillalibreofficial. I got this amazing heart Afgan from my Taurean friend Libby. Gave myself a blow dry after @livissomewhere helped with my bleach which is also a gift. Got an unpictured alligator runner rug for my hallway from my auntie. So many contributions to my bathroom remodel as well! I finished it off by spending today the actual bday working, styled my sisters hair for an award ceremony for @sundaygoodsarizona. Met at @greenrestaurantaz for dinner and @namivegansweets for treats to take with to @paintingwithatwist ❤️we did black light cacti 🌵

Really grateful for good days Finally! after 10+ weeks of someone making me cry for anything you can think of..

Still working every day.. stay off my dick.

If you're ever asked if you want to get to at 2:30am, to drive four hours, to hike to a waterfall.... it's very important that you say yes.

Mon Cheri the ultimate girl experience. 💕

Went to mon cheri for cocktails and appetizers with one of my besties! Beautiful venue but oh geeze it’s hot if you get seated outside!

Great cocktails 🍸 and everything was lovely and pink! Food was what I expected. This is more of an experience. I would do it again but only later in the evening, and a less busy day or with a big party so you can sit at the cool flower spots.

Seems to be very popular for bachelorettes. They had some cool champagne towers and what not that I’d love to order for a party.

Gonna have to have second take when I have the party for it.

Definitely a do for any girl!
