🇪🇸 Hoy partida a Warhammer 40k tercera edición. Hemos jugado Tau VS Marines del Caos. Hemos jugado el escenario de Sabotaje donde los Marines del Caos debían llegar al centro y activar unas bombas para destruir el helipuerto Tau. Los escenarios tan rolero son (para mí) lo mejor del hobby.

🇬🇧 Today we played a game of Warhammer 40k Third Edition. We played Tau versus Chaos Marines. We played the ‘Sabotage’ scenario, in which the Chaos Marines had to reach the centre and activate some bombs to destroy the Tau helipad. Scenarios like this, which are so role-playing-oriented, are (for me) the best thing about the hobby.

🇪🇸 Cuando el Sol desaparece… los muertos se levantan.

Hoy el cielo nos regala un eclipse y he pensado que no había mejor momento para sacar a pasear a los que llevan miles de años esperando su momento.

El ejército de Khemri al completo preparado para The Old World, con legiones de esqueletos, carros, monstruos de hueso y, por supuesto, el mismísimo Settra el Imperecedero al frente de su reino.

Este ejército lo ha pintado casi todo mi buen amigo @karshkin , y poco a poco lo@voy a ir completando pintando algunas unidades más. Sin embargo, quería aprovechar el tener listo el tablero y escenografía de Khemri, para poderlo lucir.

Dicen que durante un eclipse la luz desaparece durante unos instantes.

En Khemri simplemente lo llaman “la hora de levantarse”.

¿Qué miniatura de Khemri no puede faltar en vuestro ejército? ¿Settra, el Dragón de Hueso, los Ushabtis… o sois de los que todavía tienen una legión de esqueletos esperando su momento en la vitrina?

🇬🇧 When the Sun disappears… the dead rise.

Today the sky is treating us to an eclipse, and I thought there could be no better time to let those who have been waiting for their moment for thousands of years out for a stroll.

The entire Khemri army, ready for The Old World, with legions of skeletons, chariots, bone monsters and, of course, Settra the Undying himself at the head of his kingdom.

Almost all of this army has been painted by my good friend @karshkin, and I’ll gradually be finishing it off by painting a few more units. However, I wanted to make the most of having the Khemri board and scenery ready, so I could show it off.

They say that during an eclipse, the light disappears for a few moments.

In Khemri, they simply call it ‘the hour of rising’.

Which Khemri miniature is an absolute must-have in your army? Settra, the Bone Dragon, the Ushabtis… or are you one of those who still have a legion of skeletons waiting for their moment in the display cabinet?

Hay piezas que dejan de ser una simple réplica para convertirse en auténticas obras de coleccionista.

Quiero aprovechar este post para reconocer públicamente el excelente trabajo que ha realizado @karshkin con la pintura y el envejecido de esta FG-42. La atención al detalle en el desgaste del metal y el tratamiento de la madera aportan un nivel de realismo y rigor histórico que es muy difícil de conseguir. Es un verdadero lujo contar con profesionales que ponen tanta pasión en su técnica.

¡Enhorabuena por el resultado, Miguel! Muchísimas gracias por tu dedicación y por el trato, ha sido un placer.

1er Imperius Dominatus Torneo Narrativo de Warhammer 40.000 tercera edición celebrado en @custodiosdemorr . Aquí podéis ver unas pocas fotos del nuestro torneo, un auténtico día del hobby que sin duda repetiremos pronto, con ejércitos espectaculares y gente maravillosa, sobre el ambiente no creo que haga falta decir nada, diría que se palpa en las imágenes.

🇪🇸 Hoy también ha dado tiempo a probar a jugar a Warhammer 40k tercera edición. Miguel me ha hecho de profesor y he podido juega por primera vez con mis TAU contra sus Ángeles oscuros. Ha sido muy divertido 🫡 El domingo más con los colegas de @lahordaoldhammer

🇪🇸 El pasado sábado jugamos a Bolt Action con una gran batalla a 6 jugadores inspirada en el contexto de “Batalla de Prójorovka”.

Fue sin duda un gran día de hobby, disfrutando entre risas y catastróficas tiradas como ya es tradición en nuestro club.

🇬🇧 Last Saturday we played Bolt Action, staging a massive six-player battle inspired by the ‘Battle of Prokhorovka’.

It was undoubtedly a great day for our hobby, filled with laughter and disastrous dice rolls – as is now tradition in our club.

Impressions from the Clash of Spears Triple tournament at Hispania Wargames 2026 in Málaga.

Once again, the fantastic Club Despertaferro organized an amazing Clash of Spears event, including its variants Clash of Katanas and Clash of Shieldwalls.

The atmosphere was incredibly warm and friendly. The tables looked stunning and the armies were absolutely beautiful.

Congratulations to the winners Quinto, Salva and Antonio, and to Aitzol and Manu for Best Painted Armies. Huge thanks to Javi and all the helpers for the hard work behind the scenes.

For us, it was one of the best wargaming weekends we have ever had. The perfect mix of friends, tabletop battles and great food. It meant a lot to finally see so many of you again and to make many new friends along the way.

🇪🇸 Hoy ha sido una noche de Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay que no se olvida fácilmente.
Un mercenario, un cazador de brujas, un halfling y un sacerdote de Sigmar… y un destino común: adentrarnos en Mordheim, donde cada esquina huele a corrupción y gloria perdida.

Nada de esto habría sido igual sin Wini, que como Master nos llevó de la mano (y a veces al abismo) con una narrativa brutal, decisiones tensas y una historia que nos tuvo enganchados de principio a fin. Puro Warhammer: oscuro, sucio y épico.

Y mención especial a la escenografía del club, que convirtió la partida en algo casi cinematográfico. Ruinas, callejones y ambientes que no solo se juegan… se viven.

Dados, historia, amigos y grimdark del bueno.
Así da gusto perderse en el Viejo Mundo.

🇬🇧 A night of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay that won’t be easily forgotten.
A mercenary, a witch hunter, a halfling, and a priest of Sigmar... and a common destiny: to venture into Mordheim, where every corner reeks of corruption and lost glory.

None of this would have been the same without Wini, who as Master led us by the hand (and sometimes into the abyss) with a brutal narrative, tense decisions and a story that had us hooked from start to finish. Pure Warhammer: dark, dirty and epic.

And special mention must go to the club’s scenery, which made the game almost cinematic. Ruins, alleys and environments that are not just played... they are lived.

Dice, history, friends and good old grimdark.
This is how you enjoy getting lost in the Old World.
