She talking about some “mommy I want yours.” In reference to me asking what she wanted her nails to look like.

So naturally, we compromised: same energy, toddler budget. 😂🎀💅🏾✨

My broke little bestie, my tiny twin, my whole heart. 🥹💕 But every now and then I gotta remind her… baby, YOU are the dependent. 😭😂”

Entry 010 night night 🌙

Some nights, “getting everybody settled” somehow turns into everybody getting settled on me. 😂🤎

Little feet in my face, somebody across my chest, somebody tucked beside me, and not an ounce of personal space left for Mommy. 😭 But somewhere between the tiny hands, sleepy cuddles, and pure chaos, I realized I wouldn’t trade this part of motherhood for anything.

One day they’ll be too big to pile on top of me like this. So for now… I’ll take the feet in my face. 🥹😂🤎

My favorite kind of crowded. Just missing Dada. 🥺🤎🌙

BABYYYYY 😭 PRESSED has been CLOCKED TF IN this week. Saturday to Sunday, the chairs barely had time to cool off. 😂💇🏾‍♀️🌿

From tiny clients getting their very first Princess Treatment, to Quince-ready slays, wash days, blowouts, protective styles, silk and curls, and my grown girls coming through for their appointments… we have been BUSY busy. And what’s crazy? This isn’t even everybody. Some appointments came, got slayed, paid, and left before I even remembered I was supposed to be making content. 😭

Meanwhile, Yari has been over there with a whole clientele of her own, just working and minding her business because apparently her mother is the only one who thinks every appointment needs a photoshoot, campaign rollout and documentary. 😂📸 I’m either gonna teach that child how to capture her work or PRESSED is officially hiring a content girl because THIS WILL NOT DO.

But seeing these chairs stay full, seeing new faces come through the doors, seeing our babies get treated like princesses, and watching people trust us with their crowns? 🥹🌸 Yeah… PRESSED is BLOOMING.

Thank you to every client who sat in our chairs this week, whether the camera caught you or not. 🖤

Mission messy

I’m in here changing Kross and I heard something drop but you know the kids are playing. 5 min later I heard another noise but it was harder and louder this time. The last thing I need is a trip to the ER…..I grab Kross and I see…

Unicorn girl and Dino boy.
She laid out like I popped or yelled at her.
He standing there arms folded and shocked.

I need a nap 😭😭

Today’s mission was simple: grocery shopping.

Mission accomplished… kind of.

Loaded everyone into the car, Kross decided he was absolutely not sitting in the back anymore, so up front he came. Meanwhile, I turn around for two seconds and Ryder and Chosen are standing in my seats fighting over ONE teddy bear like there isn’t a whole house full of toys waiting for them. 🙃

Some days you just drive home, unpack the groceries, and pretend none of it happened. 😂

The boys 💙

It had been a long day for everyone.

Ryder had karate. 🥋
Kross has a cold. 🤧
And Chosen played until she couldn’t anymore.

I put everyone in their respective beds around 8 PM. I took a shower, thinking that would be the end of my night.

Boy, was I wrong.

First, I heard Kross crying. Then I heard Ryder yelling, “Shhhh!” 😂

Somehow, we all ended up downstairs. Two hours later, Kross had fallen asleep on my chest, and Ryder had fallen asleep on the arm of the chair.

Do you think I moved an inch?
Absolutely not 💙

Motherhood isn’t always picture perfect… but these are the moments I’ll probably miss the most one day. 🤍

Entry 003: Captured moments 🩷

In order to not have any full-blown meltdowns sometimes you just have to give in to movie night.

Kross fell asleep first. Some breastmilk with cereal and apple sauce. Lights out. 😴

Then surprisingly Ryder was next.(shocked me 😅), and Chosen made it another 5 minutes after him.

Once all of my little broke besties were asleep, I poured myself a glass of wine, turned on Criminal Minds, and soaked in the quiet.

Our baby Chosen went to her first sleep over 😭😭 me and @paidpal__ are not okay! It was so hard to drop her off and leave her, but we know she’s in good hands with @littlestarsdancestudiosl

Before I dropped her off we had to FaceTime @paidpal__ So Chosen could show off her outfit to her daddy.

She wasn’t even scared 😭 she was like bye mommy lol. It’s only one night but we swear it feels like forever.

The interruption

While the kids were taking a nap, I decided to set up a dot cake station so that we could do a fun activity. (Practice to make Gigi @chelly.uk a birthday cake.) I set them up in their Montessori chairs so that they can stand near the counter. There was a ring at the doorbell, and I forgot that I ordered groceries. While I was dealing with the delivery person, someone put their hands in the frosting and decided to climb on top of the island to their little brother. As you can see Kross don’t even care. Who do you think did it? Can you tell by the pictures?

Everyone back to bed pronto! 😭😭
