POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Happy Sunday! With lots of projects around here in planning stages and the lack of a sofa in my living room, having anything ready to shoot for IG is becoming increasingly difficult. But I pushed a bunch of cat paraphernalia out of the way and managed this photo of part of the living room to share on here so you know I’m still around. 👋🏼

Morning revellers!! Big news at The Homestead; The pool is officially FULL! 🎉💪🏼🏊🏼‍♀️💦 I’m so much happier with it all down there now that the right colour liner is in situ. We can whack the heat pump on and it will be ready for action in a few more days. In the meantime, check out my new JuJu from @mukalaafrica 😍😍😍 I got her with my birthday money. She’s all the way from Africa and represents Stability. I love her!! .

(AD) Let's talk about the 🌎planet🌍. My husband and I are discussing how we can be more eco- friendly.
As a family of 6, we don't have a car🚙, fly very rarely 🛩preferring trains🚇and eat less meat. We need to work on recycling ♻️and minimising plastics which is the hardest😬I think!
Talking of sustainability, let's talk cushions 😲. They come in different colours, shapes, sizes and prices. Often there's a reason for the price and you get what you pay for.
These star✨🌟💫 cushions from @firefly_home are handcrafted using an age old technique called crewel embroidery. The quality is topnotch, timeless and long-lasting. Definitely not the throw away type.
The cushions are plump and big at 50 x 50. So it doesn't make sense to me why they're £38 each. Compared to so many others I've had, they're a steal!
Check out @firefly_home and give them a follow. They're a family run business specialising in crewelwork and ethical and sustainable sourcing from artisans whose livelihood depend on this craft.
Share one way you are helping save the planet 🌏💚. ***
@storyofmyhome I am moonstruck by these star cushions @myhousethismonth these are new yayy

Three weeks in and I think I’m happy with this corner now.... So today I’m asking for your favourite renovation accounts.... I’d like to feature more fab renovators on my blog and so I’d love you to point me in the direction of some fab accounts.... If you’re in the middle, at the beginning or the end of your renovation project I’ve got a new hashie for ya.... #sassyreno 🙌🏼 Tag your posts and I’ll share my favourites on stories every week.... As far as ours goes the drawings are finally done and planning hopefully going in today.... Now I’ve got 8 weeks to decide on the finer details and source all the new sets of doors.... This is the bit I love! .
.
Hope you all have a fab Friday X .

Happy Wednesday! I’ve been a little quiet over here, trying to finish up projects, wrap up orders, and keep my kiddos busy, but have managed to find one of the most stunning accounts on IG, @cowboy__kate !!!! Her whole house is absolutely amazing, and I have felt so inspired by each room! If you’re not following her, you’re missing out! I just love how she has gold leafed this wall, this is soooo me! I mean, come on, it’s perfect! I hope you are all having an amazing week so far!
