So thankful for all of our family and friends who came to support Lily as she graduated from Creighton University on Saturday. Watching her reach this moment has been such a gift, and we couldn’t be more proud of the person she is — hardworking, resilient, loving, and full of integrity.

Beyond proud of you, Lil. The next chapter is blessed to have you. #bigthingsahead

If you know me, you probably know my love for softball. As I’ve thought for the past few days trying to think of what I would say in this post, I came to the conclusion that I will never find the words to truly explain how much this sport means to me, and how much it’s given me.

I could write a book to each and every person who has supported me, loved me, and pushed me throughout my career and helped me to become the person I am today. My patents, grandparents, family, kash, teammates, trainers, and coaches, none of this would of ever been possible without you guys and I am forever in debt to all you’ve done for me.

This sport has shaped and molded me into the person I am today. From all the late nights, early mornings, bad times, good times, injuries, struggles, joy, laughter, success, and failure, i wouldn’t change a thing. Spending my past 4 years at Creighton has been the most special, rewarding, and fulfilling gift from God that I could have asked for. Although I will not put on a Creighton jersey or take the field ever again, I have a lifelong list of friends, lessons, standards, and accomplishments that I will carry with me forever. I am thankful to know that my identity has always been in Christ and not in this sport, it was just something I loved to do. The thought of now being able to pour into younger players and hopefully impact their lives through the sport of softball just as mine was, gives me so much peace and joy. My collegiate career may be over, but the game will always be apart of me.

Today was Lily’s last game on her home field… and it hits hard.

It’s bittersweet watching this chapter close, but I’m proud of everything she’s built here—her career speaks for itself, and we couldn’t be more proud. Even more than that, she’s done it the right way. Character, integrity, consistency… that’s what stands out most.

Grateful for this coaching staff and everything they’ve poured into her and this team. The standard they’ve set and the belief they’ve shown matters. Lily’s freshman year they tied for last place in conference. The last two years they were in the ship and I’ve no doubt they’ll be back there again this year. That kind of turnaround in a program is unreal. Bottom line.

Conference tournament starts Thursday. No one I’d rather see go on a run and finish this thing the right way. Let’s go get it. #rdj 💙💙💙

Senior Weekend 🤍

What a weekend celebrating our girl, Lily. It’s hard to put into words what this season of life feels like… a mix of overwhelming pride, gratitude, and “how did we get here so fast?”

This journey hasn’t just been about the wins or the big moments—it’s been about the early mornings, the long drives, the lessons learned, the setbacks overcome, and the quiet in-between moments that shaped her into who she is today. Watching Lily grow, persevere, and become the young woman she is has been one of the greatest privileges of our lives.

To everyone who showed up this weekend—whether you traveled many miles, cheered from the stands, sent a message, watched on tv or have supported her along the way—thank you. Truly. It means more than we can say. It takes a village, and we’ve felt that every step of this journey.

Lily, we are so incredibly proud of you. The best is still ahead, and we’ll be right here, cheering you on every step of the way. Watching in awe as you fulfill your purpose and seek the Lord with every step.

Now someone pass the tissues… and maybe hit pause just for a second 🤍🥹

My birthday weekend was one for the books. Had such a wonderful time doing my most favorite thing in the world and watchin my girl play ball. Thankful to get some quality time in with the ones I love the most.
