She came up to me and said, "You really enjoy this work don't you?" And I looked at her smiling, covered in sweat from shooting for six hours already in the August summer heat, and said, "I REALLY, really do."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I thanked her for noticing and honestly had to hold back tears because I just feel the love and connection so deeply on wedding days that emotions run high. True story, I've never NOT cried on a wedding day.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When you find something you really love it doesn't feel like work, it feels like winning the freaking lottery. If you're hearing a voice that's telling you, "This isn't what I'm supposed to be doing." I encourage you to explore the things you DO love and see where it takes you and do it TODAY. Someday isn't coming and tomorrow is never promised as the world felt on Sunday.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Because I'm telling you, if I could pick up a camera having zero technical skills and leave my soul crushing 9-5 just six months later with a thriving wedding photography business, you can create the job of your dreams and going to work can feel like winning the lottery for you too. Don't wait another minute my friend.

And thank you to @mariewindsor_photography for the awesome BTS shot 🙏🏻

At the end of the night it's really about these moments! Leaning into each other as they start their lives together and taking the time to take it all in!!! .

THAT'S A WRAP ON 2019 WEDDING SEASON!!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am seriously SO grateful to be invited into your lives for one of the most special days of your life. I'm so grateful for your parents, grandparents, siblings and friends who so warmly welcome me into your intimate circles. Who allow me the space to document your most meaningful relationships. I am so grateful for every opportunity to connect with you and hear your stories.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This year was jam packed with smiles, weepy eyes behind my lens, warm hugs and so, so, so many beautiful moments. Here is to YOU, not just my clients but to their incredible families and friends who continue to support me. You make my dreams come true. It was the biggest and joy and privilege to meet and photograph you all this year.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In celebration of YOU, if you were my client any given year for any session, I'd love to know what your favorite photo I took is so I can share the love with everyone. Send me an email or a DM with the photo!!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And thank you to the amazing @gracetphotography for this lovely idea.

Personal vows are one of my favorite parts of the entire wedding day and almost all of my couples do them. Kim and Kevin chose to exchange them during their first look and I just love this moment right here.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It is such a privilege to be present and preserve moments like this for my amazing, amazing couples.

Pretty much speechless from yesterday.

All I can really say is “Wow. Wow wow wow.” over and over again.

It was a truly incredible privilege to photograph K + K’s wedding yesterday and I am overwhelmed with how many beautiful and heartfelt moments I had the honor of capturing.

And again, could not pick a favorite so here are ten with way, way more to come✨
